I'm a born optimist ,but a realist. Touch is one of my major love languages, and I love snuggling with my man, stealing kisses in the rain..Outgoing with a few places of shyness.Family and friends are such valued treasures. Be forewarned.... smiling.... as gentle bantering can be expected.Eclectic and varied other interests are part and parcel of who I am. I also love animals, although I've been without a dog the past few years. . I would term myself as a country sophisticate...a boots and jeans,chicks in the oven and calves in the bathtub type of gal,as I'd lived on a cattle ranch for many years- and then it was off to the symphony that night.I adore music as it's part of the fabric of my life.My tastes run all over the board ,from Verdi and Haydn,to Sting and Roy Orbison ,as well as R & B ,doo-wop,and yes, even the opera ! :) Slow dance ,cheek to cheek with me to Etta James's "At Last" in the parking lot ...I love to read, and haunt bookstores and the library.Theater and symphony season tickets enrich and color my world ,as does attending concerts in the park,musuems and art galleries.I live my life simply, but enjoying every day. I listen to NPR, enjoy Klick and Klack, A Prairie Home Companion, a good hockey game as well as the Cougars or Seahawks. I'm a talented cook in the kitchen,- think Julia Child ! :***and would love to have you be my permanent ,full time sous chef ! A kitchen dance, a glass of wine....Smiling...Travel is something I'd love to do more of,especially with a co -adventurer. There's alot of beauty to be savored and backroads to explore together .And I'd love for someone to teach me how to fish,and yes,even golf.You up for it?:))Camping , boating /sailing are enjoyed ,but even more so if I have a decent bed, and a hot shower is available.I want a full partner and a best friend to go through this autumn season of my life with - a wingman - where we feel as if we've come home when holding each other....authenticity,being vulnerable,gentle bantering with each other,being able to be silly at times, sharing wonderful deep discussions about everything and nothing,loads of laughter ,making memories,being supportive of one another and nurturing the relationship .... having a smoking hot love affair that rocks and endures the rest of our lives. !My Christian faith defines who I am and how I live my life.....and I'm looking for a partner who also shares those beliefs.With that goes being a conservative politically. I'm looking to develop a friendship that might lead to marriage....." Our interests certainly don't all have to coincide ,but we can celebrate our differences .You will have a zest for living life , the wonder of a child exploring God's creation. All topped off with a touch of class ,and a splash of polish -smiling....And yes I do recognize a good man when he comes along into my life. I'm more interested in your character and personality than your looks, although you do need to be attractive to me. Yes, women are visual as well,but not like men are ! ;)And ,you may be younger than me or a younger acting older man. Ages ***.So much more to discover..... let's do forever together.;) !!Also ,if you tag me in the MEET ME and you have mileage restrictions on your profile,I cannot contact you,so change your parameters.I am open to long distance....with the right man... certainly not Pollyannish about the unique obstacles that distance can present ,but these are short term risks that may have a life time bonanza. A heart that has found a home.A first meeting would be a coffeehouse.... like Starbucks, or a glass of wine at a quiet restaurant, or...perhaps even a winery.Walking along the riverfront with lots of conversation is another option. Lets do something fun together! :) If the magic is there, and if we're left with wanting to see more of one another........the sky's the limit!If not, we can gracefully acknowledge that.Oh,let's just run away to Tuscany, and listen to Bocelli sing in the amphitheatre, and we'll dance under the canopy of a midnight sky filled with the brilliance of the stars....too far ? ...well,a girl can dream,hey ? teasingly said...LOL!For a first date....,that's after we've met ,right ?smiling.... and then ....ahh,you'll have to meet me first....
