I like camping,traveling,bowling,hiking and swimming.I enjoy long walks (holding hands of course with someone special) I like to be able to do things on the spur of the moment. My children are grown now and I have the option of picking up and taking off for a weekend get-a-way if I want to. I like action-comedy movies and going out to eat. I like all types of foods, like an occasional margarita, wine, or a cold beer on a hot day. I don't watch tv much, but when I do I like crime dramas like criminal minds, thats my favorite program these days. I am a good listener, and been told I have a big heart. I love animals, especially dogs, I guess I should say I love cats too since I have one ha ha. I like all types of music, but not to crazy about rap. I'm easy going, positive person, the type that looks at the glass half full rather than half empty. I will laugh at myself as well as any silly joke that is told, 'cause basically I am silly, that kid in me comes out if provoked, ha ha!For the first date, I would like to keep it simple. How about going for coffee? I'm not into the bar thing, but a sports bar is ok for happy hour if it's early enough. I would want to beat the crowd. I figure a coffee shop would be perfect, it's basically quiet, where we could talk and actually hear each other and get to know one another.

Thats what's the dating world seems to have come to look like these days. We need to get back to the days where dates was dating, when calling someone your gf/bf was the in thing and people were secure with it.That was when people were happier in relationships and had better healthier connnections to each other. Throw out the computers and the cell phones and think about a simpler time when it was ok to sit across the table and have a conversation with somebody without the phone ringing or a text interupting.
