Me: goofy, intelligent, fun, open-minded girl. You might think you have me pegged from my pics, but I am a very intricate and layered individual (aren't we all?) I am currently back in school pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical Psych and Art Therapy. I am also working as a residential counselor for at-risk adolescents. It's a blast and I learn something new every day. I used to be performance artist running a Burlesque troupe in the Seattle area, but my career has taken over. I am very passionate about helping others. I also love to travel. I hope that once I graduate with my Master's, I can meld the two together. I like to spend time with my friends, listen to music (huge music junkie!), meet new people, cook new and exciting things, work on art pieces, read about philosophy and human nature, and practice Buddhism.I consider my personality to be witty, real, goofy, analytical, caring, fun, exciting, and creative. I'm on here because I'm looking for someone that will make my heart flutter. I'd like to eventually find my partner in crime - someone to share my life with. You: witty, good sense of humor (sarcasm is a must), fun, and intelligent. The men I usually go for have confidence yet aren't afraid to act goofy sometimes, and at the same time, they can sit down and talk philosophy over a nice cup of coffee. As far as looks go, I like tall, muscular guys with tattoos and beards. I'm certainly more of a personality gal, however, so don't be afraid to message if you don't have these physical qualities! In light of recent ***, I would like to state the following: Please make an effort when messaging me. Don't just say "hello" or "hi". If you do, I will not respond. Put a little bit of effort in, please. I'm also not a hooker or webcam slut, so don't bother asking - it's insulting. My first date would be a "getting to know each other" date. Probably something casual over coffee, or another beverage of choice. Then, if the night goes well, we could wing it from there and maybe go grab a bite to eat and then hit a bar or two. I'm not too uptight about dates, I prefer to go where the mood takes us! :)

Hi there,I'm looking for someone who, like me, is vegan.I come from a big Italian / Norwegian family and I love sitting over a meal listening to someone else's story and sharing mine. Talking and eating, what could be better? I have a tendency to rescue animals so if a temporary box of extra kittens isn't your idea of a fun afternoon.......My political leanings are very important to me and revolve around animal rights, helping people help themselves, and the environment in that order. I've been studying natural and holistic health and healing since I was 19. (but try and come between me and my Mighty-O doughnut and I can't be responsible for your safety.) I'm not too Woo Woo about it. Maybe just woo. In other words, I don't think that passing your hands over a broken arm is going to fix it.I am looking for someone who shares my attitude toward animals.I like adventure in unexpected places; in fact, I tend to think everything is an adventure. I guess as far as what "type" I am, I lean toward an artsy thinker whatever that is. As far as what type I like, physically, there really isn't one. I like smart, communicative, positive, and funny. Whatever type that that comes in works for me. I love to laugh; I have found that a sense of humor can help you get to the other side of anything. The most important traits to me are ethics, honesty, communication, dependability and ethics. Did I say that twice? : ) I have been lucky enough to have traveled some-Israel,Turkey,Jordan,parts of Europe, parts of the US and have lived in Hawaii. Then there was that trip to Baja in my 20's... But never mind :)I find each new place with its lifestyles and people widen my perspective.I like to spend time with people that make me laugh, that I can make laugh and who make me think. I love different perspectives. I'm a writer. I can say that because I've been published. OK that isn't as big a deal as it sounds but it's fun to say. The goal is to finish my book series, sell it, become rich and famous and, sadly, have to turn down all of those talk show invitations (Oprah will beg and weep) because I'm too busy volunteering for good causes.Until then I have a personal organizing business that I find very rewarding. Most of my clients are people with issues with trauma, mental health based chronic clutter, or hoarding (but I call it "excessive collecting"). It is very rewarding to have someone say "I couldn't have done this without you" or call and say "I had my first dinner party in 12 years!" I love old movies, street fairs, popcorn and animals. I love art, and the symphony or opera are a special treat but don't let that scare you. I rarely date men that like the symphony or opera, I have friends for that. I could win a million dollars and still want to go garage sale-ing (not that I couldn't figure out how to spend a million dollars). I enjoy involving myself in the interests that the other person brings to the relationship. (barring bungee jumping and skydiving -- those I can watch and wave) I want someone who is clever, fun-loving and willing to look at life from many perspectives and with endless possibilities. I'm looking for someone who, when he meets the right person, wants to build a life together.Meet for tea/coffee or a drink somewhere where we can talk.
