I spend my free time volunteering on Board of Directors for various charities. I work primarily with Veterans organizations, and on projects that focus on helping children. I have also built houses with Habitats for Humanity ...I believe in paying it forward, and strive to leave a place better then when I arrived!I raised my two daughters by myself from the age of 2 & 6...they are my greatest accomplishment, but also the reason I have gray hair! lol ...I have two adorable grandchildren, as well as two granddogs.Iam a down to earth, high energy guy who loves to dance all night, or just kick back at home with a glass of Vino and someone special.Love to travel and experience other cultures. I enjoy cruising, and spending time in the tropics.Comfortable in anything from a tee-shirt to a Tux... I enjoy my own company, but prefer to explore the world with a partner. I have a good sense of humor, and enjoy making.... others smile/laugh. I am both financially, and emotionally secure...my only baggage is that which we pack for our next trip...I'm a romantic who will bring you flowers just because I was thinking of you.     Ok time to change things around on here. Had a lot going on in the last few months and think I can finally see where I am going in life. I am very hard working and enjoy the challenges of my job on a day to day basis. I try my best at being as honest as possible and speaking the truth. I have been too set in my ways over the last ***years or so and have just really had an existence and am looking for a way out of that and taking a more positive and happy path in the future. I am one of those guys that will never say never and am always willing to give new things a go even if it's just once. If I don't like, i will tell you about it. I have recently got the running bug and have just completed my first half marathon and have just signed up to do Bristol in September. Not to everybodys taste I know but being honest. Whilst I am on about my traits, I will also say that I do enjoy the odd glass of Pinot Grigio or a long cool beer after a long or challenging day at work but not overboard.I am looking to find friends, maybe a future partner on here but if not friendship is the most valued to me as we all go on in life wondering what if and it is proven that as we go on in our lives, we only really have a maximum of ***true friends who will be there through the good and bad times. However saying that, I had noticed in the past the ones whom I thought were friends in the good times, when things went wrong, only one was left standing!!My taste in music is just as bizarre as a smoking and slight drinking Half marathon runner!! I love to listen to everything from classical to hard rock, trance and Techno but do not do the club scene these days as so fed up of waiting at a bar for 40 minutes standing on peoples toes waiting to give the barperson 3 quid for a pint of watered down liquid whan you can get better value from Tesco. if you think I've left anything out that you wanna know, don't hesitate to get in touch :)
