I can write all about myself telling you how wonderful I am using numerous adjectives, but I think you have to meet a person and make your own decision. I am a well rounded happy person who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. I work full time for a major insurance company in their litigation department. I have two grown children who are both married and live in the area. And I also have two beautiful granddaughters who are the world to me. Anyone with grandchildren will know the feeling. Family is one of the most important things to me and one of my greatest enjoyments is spending time with them. I have a number of good friends that have the same interests as I do and we enjoy spending time together.I like to play golf (which I haven't mastered yet/and maybe never will) but I still enjoy trying whenever I get the chance. Since I live near the beach, Point Lookout is a place you can find me when the sun is shinning.I love Broadway shows, the movies and a variety of music. Rod Stewart is on the top of my list. Where are you? I know you're out there. Think of all the fun we can have together. Let's take a day trip to no where and sing and talk. How about just hanging out in a park and people watching? I have no interest in riding on the back of a Harley (or any other motorcycle) however wouldn't mind the back of a horse.I am a hopeless romantic, love holding hands, candlelight and just doing little things to make someone feel special. I am affectionate, warm and caring. I love to walk, love theater and have season tickets, reading, movies, dining in or out, concerts, Texas holdem games at bars for free (I drink iced tea), travel, board games and spectator sports like baseball and basketball. My favorite music is lite rock and oldies. I love the outdoors whether walking, bbqing, going to the beach or just hanging out. I have a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh. I am an active volunteer for Lost Our Home Pet Foundation and love all animals especially dogs. My two "kids" are Sugar and Buster. Sugar is an 10 lb malti/poo and Buster is an 8 lb chihuahua. My 2 legged "kids" are all grown and on their own. I am spiritual and do not follow a formal religion although I don't care if you do.I am easygoing, casual and ready to meet my match. I am looking to have fun. Life is too short to be serious all the time.. My ideal man will be, warm, loving and affectionate. He will love animals even if he doesn't have any. He will have a positive attitude and be a participant of life and not just watch it pass him by. He will believe in love, honesty, integrity and communication. Well let's see, I'm now 35 years old, and can actually admit it, and have had no luck finding that someone special through the "usual" ways. I am a fifth grade teacher which does not allow for much contact with people of the opposite sex. What it does allow for is a lot of smiles and laughter with the kids.I'm not one of those girls that are afraid to get dirty. When camping, I'm the one pitching the tent, carrying fire wood, or baiting the hook for fishing. This is not to say that I don't also like to have my nails look good while I'm doing it :o) I think I'm a pretty laid back person. I enjoy traveling, theater, movies out or at home, and the casino and bars(challenge you to a game of darts) on occasion. Occasionally I go a little crazy, like skydiving. Everyone always says, "I'm looking for this, or I'm looking for that." I'll admit that when I was younger my list was ten miles long. I've come to realize, in my older age :), that what I am looking for is someone who is not into games, unless we're talking Clue. Someone who doesn't feel that they need to be at the bar every Friday and Saturday simply b/c it's Fri. or Sat. I am the type of person who can sit on the couch watching a movie or UFC one night, throw on dorky bowling shoes the next, and end the weekend at a Broadway show. I would love someone who could join me doing all of this. Finally, I am looking for someone who will just be my best friend and treat me the same way he would like to be treated himself. That's not too much to ask, is it?? :o)A first date requires good conversation over dinner or drinks at the minimum. Although conversation over a well brewed cup of coffe is always nice too.
