It has been said that 'a man falls in love through his eyes( I feel blind men may find happiness sooner!), a woman through her ears' , ....so what ever I may say here may have little/no impact on many.But... If you l are intelligent 'gentleman' who can look further than serial dating and arm candy,you like what you see and I may like what I hear that may be a good start.Solvent and no a gold digger here(trusting that you are not either) I am hoping for other,but the more elusive,qualities.If you are intelligent (emotionally & otherwise)genuine,sincere,a decent gentleman and think that there may be some common ground to start from and would like to meet someone in the real world.It would be nic to chat and take it from there. Not easily impressed with material trappings and possesions. .........I am- no couch potatoe. My main interests are equestrian activities.Not as involved as I used to be (worked with/owned horses in the past),still enjoy time spent on the back of a horse and ride regularly.     Well let's see, I'm now 35 years old, and can actually admit it, and have had no luck finding that someone special through the "usual" ways. I am a fifth grade teacher which does not allow for much contact with people of the opposite sex. What it does allow for is a lot of smiles and laughter with the kids.I'm not one of those girls that are afraid to get dirty. When camping, I'm the one pitching the tent, carrying fire wood, or baiting the hook for fishing. This is not to say that I don't also like to have my nails look good while I'm doing it :o) I think I'm a pretty laid back person. I enjoy traveling, theater, movies out or at home, and the casino and bars(challenge you to a game of darts) on occasion. Occasionally I go a little crazy, like skydiving. Someone who doesn't feel that they need to be at the bar every Friday and Saturday simply b/c it's Fri. or Sat. I am the type of person who can sit on the couch watching a movie or UFC one night, throw on dorky bowling shoes the next, and end the weekend at a Broadway show. I would love someone who could join me doing all of this. Finally, I am looking for someone who will just be my best friend and treat me the same way he would like to be treated himself. That's not too much to ask, is it?? :o)A first date requires good conversation over dinner or drinks at the minimum. Although conversation over a well brewed cup of coffe is always nice too.
