About Me

I am a tall and charming woman who is just as attractive on the inside. I am 52 years old but look and feel years younger. I am an extremely devoted daughter, loyal sister, a no-nonsense yet loving mother, a blast of an aunt, and a dedicated friend and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for those that I love. Summer is unequivocally my favorite season; socializing with my friends on the beach while drinking gin and tonic with lots of lime is my way of spending a beautiful summer weekend day. I prefer 3 card poker to blackjack but always have fun in Vegas and Atlantic City. I play mah-jongg and scrabble, and I know those really rare words worth over 20 points using less than 3 tiles. Paris is the most romantic city, and the South of France quite beautiful. My favorite getaway is the Ocean Club in the Bahamas. I also like just kicking back and making a home cooked meal for those that I love. I really enjoy entertaining and feeding people and making them feel warm and welcome in my home. If you would like to have a partner to have dinner with, go to shows and movies with, relax with a bottle of wine and have interesting conversation, then that is what I am looking for too. My home is filled with love and warmth and I would just like to find that very special man to add to my wonderful and fortunate life. I am not looking for any man to be with, I am looking for the man that I choose not be without, perhaps it is you.It really isn't what you do, but who you are doing it with. I guess a relaxing dinner over a glass or two of wine never hurt anyone. It would be wonderful if that undefineable really rare feeling that you get when you know you want to learn more about someone happens. I believe most people call it chemistry.

    I'm a low key west coast girl looking for a decent, honest, fun (and funny) guy to share my life with.I'm a fairly active person with a silly sense of humour who enjoys a lot of what our city has to offer - like getting outside for a walk, hiking, skiing, the restaurants, or going to see a movie... I try my best to exercise on a regular basis and am looking for someone active as well - but I'm certainly no elite athlete (but what I lack in skill/fitness level, I make up for in enthusiasm). I like to travel sometimes and would like to take more weekend trips to explore some nearby places such as in the interior (wine tasting?) or head back to Tofino to watch the waves. Time to relax and unwind is also important to me and I love just cuddling on the couch watching netflix or cooking a meal together at home. I go through phases of enjoying cooking but it helps to have someone to cook for! Finding someone who isn't afraid of the kitchen too would be nice - and maybe can teach me a few new recipes. I feel thankful to work in my chosen field (environmental work) in a way that is currently allowing me to have a much better work/life balance. Working in this field also means that I have deep love and appreciation for the outdoors and the critters that live there. I like to think that I'm both a city girl (currently live downtown) and a country girl - as I can see myself living in both places.
