I'm a hopeless romantic who still believes dreams do come true. My dream is to find that one true "soulmate" and build a future together, thru good and bad times, knowing as long as we have eachother, everything will work out. Maybe I have my head in the clouds but I do know this kind of love is possible. My Grandparents were a great example. I'm looking for a man who is a romantic as well. Being the NASCAR fan I am, I would also love to attend the Daytona 500, Talladega & of course the Bristol night race. Hi there:) Family and friends would describe me as being nice, patient, caring, sweet, understanding, mature, and a good listener when family & friends need an ear. I can at times though be stubborn, (it's the German in me). I have lived in the same town my whole life, but have traveled to Canada once, and have been been out west quite a lot and few other states in other areas. I have 2 younger brothers, 1 sister-in-law, and 1 nephew, both of my parents are passed away. I have a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, but know when to mind my, "P's & Q's". No tattoos; pierced ears only. I do not drink, never used drugs, never smoked, never been arrested, and have no credit card debt. I do not have kids of my own, but I do love kids (well behaved ones, anyway, lol). If you have kids, that is fine, but I have no tolerance for baby mama drama (been there, done that). I'm quiet, but I open up more when I get comfortable. I like to shop, go to parks, the zoo, sit by the camp/bonfire, watch TV/movies, chat on-line, talk on the phone, sleeping during thunderstorms, and watching them when I'm awake. I also like to listen to music (new country, & soft rock, and 80's and 90's, & today, mostly, some rap & R & B). I'd like to meet someone who is single, Christian, has a sense of humor, patient, reliable, laid back, honest, sincere, compassionate, non-smoker, non-drug user, has close family connections, has their own vehicle, is a U.S. citizen, or is in the process of becoming one. I am looking for a long-term relationship, but wish to start out as friends, and then see how things go from there. I am not looking for one-night stands, hook-ups, nor friends with benefits. I'm not interested in pics showing stacks of cash, "bling", overpriced vehicles, and designer clothes. None of that impresses me. Pics of dead wildlife don't do much for me either. I'm looking for a guy who is not too clingy, high strung or immature. I'd like to find someone to share everyday life with, and spend time with, just talking, or going to movies, or staying home and renting some, or go to parks and zoos, shopping. I'd like to meet someone no more than 2 hours away, the closer the better. Long distance relationships don't work for me. I am not interested in sports of any kind, but if you are, that's fine. Someone who is not always checking or on his cell phone would be a plus. I don't expect to be wined and dined day and night either, but some effort should be made I think.
