In the middle of updating this, haven't been here in awhile. But here's a start....On a weekend, I like to have a few people over for casual dinner or BBQ, games. And, on a more daily basis, I like one-on-one time to talk, watch a good show or movie, get cozy together on the couch, make a meal or spicy salsa or something together, take a walk, go out for a date, or have intimate time together in some way. I am a laid back person, like good conversation, and good company. I like a good combination of mental and physical stimulation. What else... Oh, and a lot of people think TV is sinful taboo these days, but I like to watch and wind down in the evening, especially with someone to share... I am a health conscious person, and I like to splurge and have fun. I like to get out in the sun and get out in the snow, not so much of the rain in 40 degree weather though. I have always been into health, exercise, fitness, weight-lifting, and healthy eating. For awhile things have been hectic, and I gained a few pounds and I'm not used to that! I'm used to being in good shape. So, I'm trying to arrange things so I can get back into it. Crazy huh? In great shape at 38, a few years of craziness, and see myself slipping! No more!...I like to think and talk about the odd things that come into my mind and share and compare thoughts and ideas and feelings about things. I admit, sometimes I take a little while to warm up to people. Although I find it easiest to talk with people who are either a little geeky/nerdy with sci fi interests, or people who are good at initiating and feeding the conversation a bit, it isn't a requirement. It goes without saying that chemistry and mutual attraction are important, so I won't say it. ... oops.I work full time with weekends off. I have a daughter (age 9). She spends every other weekend and a couple days during the week with her mom, so I do have some free time to meet someone. I'm interested in meeting a person, having fun together and getting to know each other. I'm not all that interested in televised sports or MMA. But I'm not a total squishy nerd either. For example, I actually worked out (weights and other) in school, just wasn't into football. ;) I was the in-shape athletic loner who didn't participate in the school sports activities. Oh no, why am I talking about school. It was all in the interest of trying to describe myself, which isn't the most fun or cool thing to do... Lunch, or coffee, or go out for a drink, maybe some comedy, or dinner. Maybe a walk. Whatever we feel like at the time. Sometimes what you do isn't as important to the enjoyment as who you are with when you are doing it.
