In the middle of updating this, haven't been here in awhile. But here's a start....On a weekend, I like to have a few people over for casual dinner or BBQ, games. And, on a more daily basis, I like one-on-one time to talk, watch a good show or movie, get cozy together on the couch, make a meal or spicy salsa or something together, take a walk, go out for a date, or have intimate time together in some way. I am a laid back person, like good conversation, and good company. I like a good combination of mental and physical stimulation. What else... Oh, and a lot of people think TV is sinful taboo these days, but I like to watch and wind down in the evening, especially with someone to share... I am a health conscious person, and I like to splurge and have fun. I like to get out in the sun and get out in the snow, not so much of the rain in 40 degree weather though. I have always been into health, exercise, fitness, weight-lifting, and healthy eating. For awhile things have been hectic, and I gained a few pounds and I'm not used to that! I'm used to being in good shape. So, I'm trying to arrange things so I can get back into it. Crazy huh? In great shape at 38, a few years of craziness, and see myself slipping! No more!...I like to think and talk about the odd things that come into my mind and share and compare thoughts and ideas and feelings about things. I admit, sometimes I take a little while to warm up to people. Although I find it easiest to talk with people who are either a little geeky/nerdy with sci fi interests, or people who are good at initiating and feeding the conversation a bit, it isn't a requirement. It goes without saying that chemistry and mutual attraction are important, so I won't say it. ... oops.I work full time with weekends off. I have a daughter (age 9). She spends every other weekend and a couple days during the week with her mom, so I do have some free time to meet someone. I'm interested in meeting a person, having fun together and getting to know each other. I'm not all that interested in televised sports or MMA. But I'm not a total squishy nerd either. For example, I actually worked out (weights and other) in school, just wasn't into football. ;) I was the in-shape athletic loner who didn't participate in the school sports activities. Oh no, why am I talking about school. It was all in the interest of trying to describe myself, which isn't the most fun or cool thing to do... Lunch, or coffee, or go out for a drink, maybe some comedy, or dinner. Maybe a walk. Whatever we feel like at the time. Sometimes what you do isn't as important to the enjoyment as who you are with when you are doing it.

Well I will try to keep it short and sweet.-grad life) and like to spend the (little) time I don't work training for this upcoming mud run, being outside as much as possible, drinking mimosas, brunch at any time, biking, hiking, camping, traveling (last few places this year were St.; Belize)--really I'm easy going and down for whatever as long as I'm with quality people. And lucky me that happens to be most everyone I surround myself with! I am not "picky," I like quality people of all kinds-- i.e. genuine, comfortable in their own skin, go with the flow, adventurous, funny, spontaneous...you get what I'm saying. I consider myself to be a quality female... so I don't think it's asking all that much ;) I love everything active, and if I don't know how, I want to learn. I love hiking, biking, swimming, camping, anything outdoors so its a huge plus if you do too.. I love adventurous & spontaneous people! even though I'm super active, I am NOT skinny- nor do I want to be- so if that's your type, I'm just putting it out there! (Though, I'm sure you have eyes and can look at my pics :P) And on one last note, I'm definitely down for just hanging out, not your typical "date" date... I like to let things happen naturally, maybe we click better as friends, maybe there will be more! Who knows. The best dates are ones that don't feel like dates.... just going out on a nice day, walking around the city, grabbing lunch (or brunch!), wherever the day takes you. Don't plan.. just go with it. The ones that catch my attention are ones that are different, unplanned, spontaneous, and just unexpectedly awesome without trying too hard.
