About Me

I find it hard to meet new people in my daily routine so I thought I would give this a go. So, about me... That could be something as simple as trying a new activity or something more involved like traveling to a foreign destination. I try to travel around to explore and experience the world around me as much as possible. I tend to keep active and most days you can find me out around town or in the parks running, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, at yoga, or kayaking. Don't get me wrong grabbing a bite at a new restaurant, going to the movies or just indulging in a relaxing night at home can be just as good with the right company. Professionally I'm an engineer/physicist, so I tend to geek out every now and then, though it's usually at work. That means I am also a thinker and tend to be quiet when meeting new people unless there is a common interest or passion. People misread my quietness and think I'm aloof, on the contrary I tend to be quite open minded, easy going, friendly, and will generally help people out any way I can. Something simple like meeting for coffee, a walk around the park, or something interactive.
