It's a new year! Time to get out and have some fun during these first dreary months of the year. How about something like indoor rock climbing? I am a person in which the bar scene has been phased out of my life for the most part, but I do like to go there once in a while. Nights at home with that special someone is really nice as well. I am looking for someone who knows what they want out of life. I want someone who is both career oriented and family oriented. Someone who likes to go out and have a good time as well as spend a quiet evening at home just talking or watching a good movie. . I like to go to movies, walks in the park, or anything that is outside. I have been told that I can cook a "mean" meal of any variety. Just tell me what kind of food you like and I can whip it up, especially if it is a desert of some kind. My music tastes are too long to describe on here. Basically I like anything except rap. I am not a "sports nut", but I like going to reds games and watching/going to Bengals (when they are good) games. I have an old blue water cruiser that's 'on the hard' now but I would love to drop her back in the water if I had a cute shipmate to share the voyaging!I used to be involved in theater and co- I acted, wrote and produced for a time.I am politically on the progressive side but mostly try to stay away from the left/right bickering. I was a member of a civil rights group, organizing, holding press conferences, speaking at rallies, writing Op-Eds, etc. I'm still interested and involved but not as active.I'm really not sure what I'm looking for in a partner. I'm not one for lists of requirements. Seems too clinical.I'm a Civil Engineer and I own and run a mid sized construction company. I live a much more serene life now, less driven but much happier. Very into my garden and my work. Having fun running large equipment, moving dirt around. Dug out my pond. Love my work. I have a six year old son who I adore and have adventures with. Haven't a clue.
