I don't have time for diva attitudes or self-absorbed tendencies. I value respect, honesty, and integrity above all else. If I take a good look at myself, I have simple needs. I feel true joy comes from other people's happiness. I would desire someone I date to feel the same way. I love concerts, bar scenes, and movies. However, I don't believe that would be a good place to hold a conversation. Physical attraction is important, but I have to be able to connect mentally. Therefore, I would prefer a quiet restaurant, a outdoor group activity (such as a group hike), or a hole-in-the-wall pub for at least half the date. The second half could be a comedy club, or maybe a local club with a blues band. Keep it simple, keep it light. A first date should be about feeling comfortable, and not trying to overly-impress. I won't learn every wonderful thing about that person on the first date. Let's just see if we have a connection. Sound good?
