Well, where do I begin?! I am a single father of two of the most wonderful kids in the world. They are 12 and 11. I work a lot so I can take care of them and make sure that they get everything they need. When I'm not working, we like to spend time outside doing just about anything. I love to go hunting and fishing. We like to play basketball.! We love going to theme parks, museums, the zoo, the fair, out to eat at new restaurants that we haven't tried before...you get the idea! I listen to all kinds of music and love going to concerts. Everything from country to rap to alternative. All of my friends would say that I am the life of the party and have a great sense of humor. I am really trying to find someone that doesn't want to play games anymore and can deal with the fact that I have full custody of my kids. I'm really at that point in my life where I just really want to settle down and take care of my family. I am extremely tired of games and women that just want to "hook up". I'm new to the area, and I want to "live". I enjoy music, social venues, movies, and being outdoors (hiking, canoeing, etc.). I'm a responsible, fun-loving guy looking for some good experiences. I'm looking forward to seeing what St Louis has to offer.Apart from being a single father of two wonderful children, I like spending time kickboxing, playing guitar, visiting with friends and famiy, and travelling. I even enjoy dancing and karaoke. I love joking around, although I know there is a time and place for seriousness. I'm looking for a genuine, honest, caring, and fun person. I don't have time for diva attitudes or self-absorbed tendencies. I value respect, honesty, and integrity above all else. If I take a good look at myself, I have simple needs. I feel true joy comes from other people's happiness. I would desire someone I date to feel the same way. I love concerts, bar scenes, and movies. However, I don't believe that would be a good place to hold a conversation. Physical attraction is important, but I have to be able to connect mentally. Therefore, I would prefer a quiet restaurant, a outdoor group activity (such as a group hike), or a hole-in-the-wall pub for at least half the date. The second half could be a comedy club, or maybe a local club with a blues band. Keep it simple, keep it light. A first date should be about feeling comfortable, and not trying to overly-impress. I won't learn every wonderful thing about that person on the first date. Let's just see if we have a connection. Sound good?
