Let me jump right in with the things I love: I love the outdoors (hiking, skiing, skating, etc.). Out in nature is where I find peace. I also love animals, all types of music, art, movies, and new experiences.I'm interested in philosophy, psychology, sociology, and science in general. I'm creative, independent, affectionate, and liberal-minded with a good sense of humor (I hope). I'm a bit of a neat freak. I'm passionate, but without a lot of drama. I'm also a vegetarian, but I don't preach to anyone. I take a live-and-let-live approach to life. I enjoy a good discussion and can see both sides of a topic, but at the same time, I don't like to fight or argue. I believe in treating others the way I want to be treated. And that's how I live my life. I enjoy doing volunteer work in my spare time (I have no children, so less responsibilities, more free time). I've done everything from helping clean up the coastline (I don't ascribe to a "princess" mentality) to a 5K run/walk to planting trees. I'm driven to making the world a better place while I'm here. Also, when volunteering, I get a sense of community--something that's lacking these days.I'd like to meet someone who shares a lot of my beliefs and interests, but also has a few separate hobbies. I don't care how little or how much money you have--I'm self-supporting. Every once in awhile, I need some alone time to reflect and recharge, and I will gladly give you the same in return. I'm especially drawn to creativity and intellect. Or Huckleberry Finn?I'll end my profile essay with a few FUN and WACKY facts: I adopted two adult wolves (don't worry--they live away from home).I went to the Vatican and down in the sepulcher, I had Deja vu (eeeeek!!!)I used to shoot skeet (hey, I'm a PACIFIST).I once won a dance contest--on roller skates! Anywhere is fine, as long as it isn't in a sepulcher! ;-)

Hello. Thanks for reading my profile. About me: I have three great kids. All are out on their own. We were pretty involved with 4-H and FFA, so in the past we have spent a lot of time at the local fairs in the summer. Just got done with that part of my life. Also I just finished building my own home. Just one of those things I had to do, hard to explain on here why. Maybe a conversation for later. Love the outdoors. Have a couple of horses and like to go camping with them as much as possible. I live the country lifestyle, with a small hobby farm. Just bought a muscle car and am excited to go for some drives and enjoy the scenery. Friends and family are very important to me, and I hope to find someone that feels the same way. I also like to travel and am hoping to find someone that is up for that.! One of my favorite places.. it was awesome!) Went on a road trip across America this summer! I really want to make it to a Europe and Australia some day. I love going to movies and really love most kinds of music. Can't stand rap at all, but especially love the later 70's rock (you know the stuff -.. etc). But I listen to current country, as well as current stuff the kids today listen to (I did recently have a teenager at home - LOL). I pretty much have my crap together, without a bunch of baggage so I'm looking for a guy who has his stuff together too. Someone that is ready for a relationship, is outgoing and willing to laugh and just be himself. I am really ok with where I am right now in life. In fact as my caption says, life is pretty good right now! I am great without a partner, but life would be even better with someone to share it with. I think on my first date I believe it would be great to meet somewhere for a nice quite relaxing dinner. Someplace that we can talk and get to know each other. I don't drink coffee but a coffee place is often a great location to have a conversation and get to know someone. Sorry, nothing super inovative, but with the right company any place is a good place to be.

I am new to all this, Im tired of the games, and being hurt. I want someone real, someone that knows what he wants, and above all can be honest and real, I am honest, real and loyal (what you see is what you get), and I want to share my life with someone that cares about me, not what I can give themI'm tired of meeting all the wrong guys. Like the "I'm married but separated" guy, the "I don't have transportation, so can you come get me?" guy, or the "Do you have some money I can borrow?" guy. I want someone who is employed, who has transportation, who is not a player, and who knows what he wants out of life. I'm not looking for someone to come and take care of me either. I'm employed and I am happy with my life. I've just finally come to the point in my life where I want to have someone to share it with. It would be nice to find someone who I could get to know and eventually develop a long term thing with. I like road trips even if it's just to pick a direction and end up wherever. I have found a wonderful “home” in my sister’s church and I attend every Sunday. I would never presume that just because I am with someone that they should go to services with me, but I would love the opportunity to share it with anyone who would be open.
