Living creatively is really important to maintain thoughout your life.Living creatively doent mean only artistic creativity, although it is part of it. It means being yourself, not just complying with the wishes of other people. . Sitting by a bomb fire by a lake. Get out the fishing poles and night crawlers see what we can catch. I could slip into my little black dress and We could have a nice, romantic dinner in a quiet setting where we are able to talk and get to know one another.

I am a very down to earth and honest person. I am also a very hard worker, a great Mom, and a very good friend. I don't have a million friends, but I love and cherish dearly the ones that I do have. I am who I am and I do not put on pretenses. I like a man who is confident without being arrogant. I was a stay at home Mom for 16 years and it was the most wonderful job in the world. I love kids. Mine are 23, 21, 18 and 13... 3 boys and a little girl. Two are in college and two are at home. My ex and I have joint custody and the 2 younger children go back and forth between the 2 households. My kids are very active in sports and I would love to meet someone who wouldn't mind hanging out with me at some football, softball and basketball games. My main goal in life has always been to be the very best mom I could be. I take parenting very seriously and I am very good at it. I love all children and they seem to pick up on that and like me very much in return. Right now my life evolves around their activities. I graduated from GA Tech in ***, but never really used my degree. I got married right out of college and started having kids shortly after. My daily life pretty much consists of working, working out, and spending time with my kids. I LOVE to work out and hope to meet somebody who would also be interested in that, although that is not mandatory. I do some sort of cardio 6 or 7 days a week and I do weights 4 to 5 times a week. I am 48 years old and probably in the best physical shape of my life, and it is important to me to maintain that.I really am hoping to meet my best friend!!! I want to be with somebody who enjoys my company as much as I enjoy their company. I want to be excited about getting together and spending time together, whether it is to go for a day hike, go for a run, ride the golf cart, go to the farmers market, take a nap, out to dinner for Thai food, or just stay in and cook and watch a good movie. I am very low maintenance. I don't require much. I am not crazy about shopping, although I do have a favorite consignment store that I like to go to. I love current country music; not so crazy about the old stuff. I also like classic rock.I was raised Jewish but I have been a Christian for a very long time. I have raised my children as Christians. God is very important in my life. I have struggled with my faith at times, but I do believe that He is the reason we are here. I have recently been attending church regularly, which feels really good. It would be nice to share that experience with a significant other. I do believe in true love, though, and I am not going to settle for anything less just to have a boyfriend. I would rather be alone than to do that. I was married 19 years and have been divorced for 7 years. I am a little quiet and shy at first but I warm up pretty quickly. I've been told that I am very easy to get along with. I'm not crazy about this whole dating thing. It feels like a whole lot of work. I know it will be worth it though, when I meet the right guy. I've met a lot of really nice ones, just not Mr. Right. Some things can't be rushed!!! Good luck with your search and thanks for reading my profile!!! Oh yeah... you must be a good speller.... just kidding!!!! Coffee/tea would be good. Maybe a golf cart ride... but whatever you suggest will be just fine. The point is to meet up and determine whether there is any chemistry or not.

My glass is always half full, and I believe everything happens for a reason. My favorite quotes and life mottos are: "Live Well, Laugh Often, and Love Much". and "It is Well with My Soul". I am very active, never get bored, and am comfortable in shorts and a tank top or dressing up to go out. I love life, love my teenage daughter, and am very active in her life and enjoy watching her and her team play softball.I am passionate in life and love. My friends would say that I am generous, loving, kind, funny, sweet, compassionate, organized and energetic. I love doing any outdoor activities, too. My friends and family would also say I have a huge heart, and nothing makes me happier than giving, but I also want to be the recipient sometimes as well. I love to entertain in my home and I have a large network of close, long time friends. I also like to go out with friends, and I'm a definite people watcher and have no problem making new friends. But I'm looking for that special man that has the same interests, goals, and desires that I do, and one who is confident and comfortable in his own skin. A man who makes me laugh is a must! I'm also looking for a partner who cares about my interests as well as his own, and who is not afraid to be a partner with an indepenent and confident woman who loves life and those who are in my life. I eventually want to include my partner in my life with family and friends, and I'd like to be included with his circle of loved ones, too. I also feel that you each need to have your own friends and activities occasionally, too. ("Absence makes the heart grow fonder.") I'm very willing to try new adventures, I'm not shy. I'm honest, I don't play games, and guess what?! My pictures posted herein are recent and actually look like me! :) I'm not afraid to open my heart, but I'm also proceeding with caution. I like all music (can tolerate a little rap, not much please). My radio station is normally tuned to country music, but I also like old time rock and roll, Motown... and I keep tuned in to current music/stations as the mother of a teenage daughter. I love to dance and consider it great exercise and great fun! When I hear the first two notes of "Brick House"...I'm on the floor in a flash! My favorite vacation is always the beach, but any destination and long weekend is a treat! I like dining out (who doesn't?) and I enjoy a small "hole in the wall"/quaint restaurant, as well as the occassional fine dining experience where I have an excuse to "dress up" and be shown off by my partner. On line dating is new to me, but I'm willing to take a chance, are you? I believe the first date should be comfortable. Let's pick a spot where we'd both enjoy, and see how the conversation flows. Let's be ourselves and just get to know each other. If we are enjoying each other's company, and sharing laughter, too...let's continue the date and the fun and conversation. I love the outdoors, so a walk in a pretty park would be right up my ally. Or perhaps there is a concert or festival we could enjoy. Bottom line, there are lots of options for a first date, and I'm open for suggestions...
