About Me

Ready for the next chapter in my life.....Positive,loyal and fun to be around. Looking for a kind, fun to be around, chivalrous man that knows how to enjoy life and works to live, not someone who lives to work. Looking for a man who shares the same outlook on life, who doesn't take themself too seriously, and enjoys the simple things in life as well as the finer things. My biggest assets are my genuineness, what you see is what you get and my thoughtfulness. I'm told my best feature are my blue eyes and smile. I'm still getting situated, But want to reamin open because you never know when the right person may come along. I have 2 grown children***& ***who are my biggest blessing! I enjoy all kinds of music, but I do prefer soft classic rock. I enjoy the outdoors, preferably, walking, biking or hiking. I love to cook butI would love to find a man who enjoys to cook as well, so I get to enjoy a meal without having to go out! I love being active but there are times I really enjoy just being at home, enjoying a quiet dinner and a movie. I also love being around friends and family. I would love to meet that someone special who's looking to enjoy life to the fullest! If you're a player, married or like playing games please move on!! I do prefer a clean cut guy, never been one for facial hair although it seems to be the thing for most guys anymore. I also not a motorcycle enthusiast, had a accident so took it as a sign to stay off. Depending on the person, we can play it by ear.

About me: well, let's see. I'm going to describe myself using words only. Some words may contradict others, which means that I'm not perfect; I hope this doesn't discourage you from getting in touch and messaging me. Here we go: romantic; sexy; intelligent; fit; direct; problem-solver; down-to-earth; kind; honest; loyal; generous; supportive; arty; fun; playful; kooky; silly; risk-taker; courageous; disciplined; determined; stubborn; tough; vulnerable; cautious; optimistic; serious-minded; focused; balanced; approachable; friendly.About him: what am I looking for in a man?Well, let's see. Someone who shares the same characteristics listed above including contradictions. Someone who loves and accepts me just as I am.Love, peace and best wishes for everyone in their search for "the one". You can tell a great deal about a person just by the way they carry themselves. And, first impressions are incredibly signficant.First date, let's see. It's probably best to keep things simple.I'd like to meet you for a coffee, or a tea at my favorite coffee joint in mid-town TO. If the conversation flows naturally, and the sparks are flyin' like crazy, we could go for a lovely long walk with my dog Georgie then grab a bite to eat: I hope you love sushi & sake. We'd continue talking, and getting to know each; we'd exchange phone numbers, and see what happens. If the above sounds too boring, then I'll leave it up to you to come up w/a more "excitng" plan.I'm saving my "exciting" plans for when we get to know each other better.

I've never signed up to an online dating site, never felt it was for me...am still not convinced it is, BUT I have seen friends meet really good quality people on here so I've decided to give it a try. So here goes....wish me luck!! I'm a pretty uncomplicated woman. Like to keep things light and stress free. Love to laugh, am quick witted, and have been told I have a good sense of humor. I am about peace of mind above all else and am quite comfortable being by myself enjoying the company of family and friends if that's what is required to attain it. However, I am confident it is possible to find the right person whose personality compliments mine and vice verse...which brings me to this :)I never really explored the idea of "hobbies", which now that I am being asked to "talk about them" leads me to acknowledge I don't have any (not sure if that's good or bad). I do have a love for Live music and have many friends who are musicians and do my best to support them and local music. My work is important to me. I love what I do. I believe in working smart not hard so I do arrange my schedule to have ample time off. Downtime is very important to me and it's vital that the man I spend time with has a healthy balance of work, family, and recreational time. I firmly believe it is possible to be a successful professional without being a workaholic. My youngest just turned 18 yrs old and is well on her way to being an independent young woman. So I am thrilled to be at a point in my life where I can be spontaneous when the mood strikes. I enjoy being able to pick up and go with little to no pre planning and it's this type of lifestyle I look forward to sharing with the right person.I've recently heard a term that I think suits me perfectly. I am a bona fide "Lazy Dater" and I totally own it! Meaning, I like to be able to meet for a drink after work, or a quick meal WITHOUT having to plan a day trip around it. So, I'm keeping my "area of exploration" down to preferably 30 mins drive time between "us". It's hard enough these days finding the time to do the things we HAVE to do let alone try to find the time to do the things we WANT to do.I do not date outside of my race. Nothing personal, I hope you understand. Nor do I date married men, and, yes, I consider Seperated to STILL be married. Something casual, stress free, with no expectations. I believe strongly in the physical/chemical attraction between people. Although I recognize the importance of an intellectual connection and it is VERY important to me, it is naive to believe some type of physical attraction is unimportant. So, coffee, lunch, maybe a drink after work, all seem like good starts to me after getting to know a little bit about each other first.
