I am a very down to earth and honest person. I am also a very hard worker, a great Mom, and a very good friend. I don't have a million friends, but I love and cherish dearly the ones that I do have. I got married right out of college and started having kids shortly after.My daily life pretty much consists of working, working out, and spending time with my kids. I LOVE to work out and hope to meet somebody who would also be interested in that, although that is not mandatory. I do some sort of cardio 6 or 7 days a week and I do weights 4 to 5 times a week. I am 48 years old and probably in the best physical shape of my life, and it is important to me to maintain that.I really am hoping to meet my best friend!!! I want to be with somebody who enjoys my company as much as I enjoy their company. I want to be excited about getting together and spending time together, whether it is to go for a day hike, go for a run, ride the golf cart, go to the farmers market, take a nap, out to dinner for Thai food, or just stay in and cook and watch a good movie. I am very low maintenance. I don't require much. I am not crazy about shopping, although I do have a favorite consignment store that I like to go to. I love current country music; not so crazy about the old stuff. I also like classic rock.I was raised Jewish but I have been a Christian for a very long time. I have raised my children as Christians. God is very important in my life. I have struggled with my faith at times, but I do believe that He is the reason we are here. I have recently been attending church regularly, which feels really good. It would be nice to share that experience with a significant other. I do believe in true love, though, and I am not going to settle for anything less just to have a boyfriend. I would rather be alone than to do that. I was married 19 years and have been divorced for 7 years. I am a little quiet and shy at first but I warm up pretty quickly. I've been told that I am very easy to get along with. I'm not crazy about this whole dating thing. It feels like a whole lot of work. I know it will be worth it though, when I meet the right guy. I've met a lot of really nice ones, just not Mr. Right.
