I know that my life would be 'sweeter' sharing it with a man who really cares about me. I also know that I'm ready to be that person for someone, too. It's only taken me half my life to realize this, and to be in this mindset because I want to be, not because I feel as though someone 'my age'; should. (I hope you get the humor in that)I'm happy, fit and totally unself-conscious, except when writing these profiles. I have a sense of adventure without being a thrill-seeking junkie...I think my daily experiences are pretty exciting on any given day! Most mornings I work out, the usual could be running, spinning, weight training or kick boxing. I also enjoy a pretty challenging Hot Yoga class, once in a while.I cook with real butter and eat cheese. I prefer to eat whole and healthy food. Watercress and 'salads' aren't on the menu. That isn't to say I eat everything with no conscience I just keep it pretty healthy. Let's just say bread is NOT a bad word in my nutritional vocabulary. I love to cook and it's really a bit of self expression when I get into the kitchen. I am a wine-o with a pretty good palate, and discovering wines and sharing them with friends is a passion.I have a serious job, but don't take it too seriously. Let's just say I have time to meet someone and the desire to make a relationship top priority. I'm hoping to find somone who knows what he likes, lives a full life, and believes, as I do, that a partner would enhance his life. Anything else you want to know about me, might be better said on the phone or in a meeting. I mean, how much can you really know about someone from a well rehearsed paragraph? :) I prefer to have you decide what would be a great meeting place or situation after we've spoken on the phone, or gotten to know one another ***

(I know, I know!!! But MINE really ARE the best!! lol) I would not be on this site if I was not serious about pursuing and having time for a romantic relationship. That being said, things DO come up when you have children, and I would like to meet someone who understands and respects that. Good. Got that out of the way! :))I am very energetic. I am outgoing and love good conversation. Laughing and smiling are a must!! I am NOT a couch potato! Love to work out and run.I take good care of myself and I am always told I do not look my age. Certainly dont act it...kind of silly and goofy I guess. But I know when serious is called for. Definitely like spontaneity and trying new things! I love to go out to dinner locally (somewhere on the water is my favorite! I am just as happy curled up on the couch on a cold rainy night with a glass of wine, some great music, or a movie, and someone special to enjoy it with!! (a fire in the fireplace would be a big bonus!)The beach is probably my favorite place to be. Luckily I live very close.I do love Sunday football...but there is always the DVR (lol) if a better offer arises!I would just like to meet someone who I am attracted to inside and out. Who means what they say, and says what they mean!!Not interested in playing games or just "hooking up". So if you are, Im definitely not for you. If you are not affectionate and do not like kissing much, Im also definitely not for you. Im a very physical person. I like contact! But not a bit clingy...does that make sense?If you are funny, honest ,athletic, playful, adventurous, romantic (now Im pushing it arent I??) and sincere about finding someone to make life just that much better...well then we may just get lucky!!! OK! Almost one week in with meetville. Am I getting the hang of this? Not sure! Hi, I am a SWF who is looking for a long term relationship. At 48, that does not necessarily mean there is a wedding involved. But it DOES mean I have little to no patience for hooking up, casual contact, serial dating, et cetera. I have a wonderfully full, rich life which can only be improved, by the addition of a partner.I most enjoy casual activities. I am completely game for black tie, and can probably out-snob the best of them but, like I stated, I most enjoy the casual.My interests are many, but a few are : Gardening, hanging with my dogs, home improvement projects, a meal in an outdoor restaurant, cooking and baking (from scratch with real ingredients thank you very much), camping, beach... camping at the beach. But that doesn't mean I don't love and enjoy lots of other things; indeed it's easier to state: I do not enjoy movie theaters and any activity where my life is potentially in jeopardy. I am probably up for everything else, or can at least be persuaded into it! LOL
