Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 47-57
I am not one to to talk about myself so when we meet for coffee or a drink I will share more about myself. In my previous career, I traveled all over the US and lived in a number of places so there was not much time for a life and children. Anyway, I started my own business a few years ago and continue to work on it. I love it since I have always tended to be more of an entrepreneur and free-spirited individual versus one who works a 9 to 5 job and follows the rules! I am enjoying expressing my "creative" side that I was not able to do before. While I may not make the kind of money I made before, I am much "happier" and enjoying life more!! Also, I am the type of person who thinks "outside of the box" so I can't deal with rigid individuals. While my business takes up most of the time these days, it would be nice to share free time with that special someone. A guy that can accept me for who I am. When I talk about sharing my free time, I do not mean me cooking or cleaning house for you. I can cook but it is not a top priority in my life and I have a maid who comes in once a week to clean for me. My time is precious so it is spent on what I value. I put my profile on here last year and that is what it was like and that is just not what I need at this time. My profile has been hidden for months so I just opened it back up In Oct ***. I would just like someone to share my life with and no additional "drama" added to my life. I have included a few examples that would be deal breakers/drama:For example: 1) you must not be married - I will find out so why bother 2) psycho exes you have dated or have been married to still wanting to be in your life, 3) felony criminals - don't contact me, 4) if you have children, pay your child support and have a reasonable relationship with the ex so it does not rollover to anyone you are dating, 5) relatively healthy - I am not asking for a health nut but you are not on the verge of a heart attack due to stress and unhealthy habits, 6) drug-free. I hope you find my "drama" list amusing because I do but sometimes it has to be said. I have found my preferences in men have changed now versus when I was younger. So...looking good in those jeans are great but you need to be able to support your financial obligations. I do have a witty sense of humor so you would have to be able to handle my sense of humor and not be too sensitive or serious!! I have been divorced for over 20 years and have had a few marriage proposals since then but those men were not the right one for me so I am not looking for a man to save me. I prefer that you live in my area not more than a hour away. Also, I am drawn to to men 6' or taller. I just like tall men.I love the atmosphere and the excitement at live sports events and concerts.. It is just fun!! I am not one to watch sports on TV but I try to stay up with what is going on with the Mavericks, Cowboys, and the Rangers!! First meeting would be like coffee or a drink. If we make it to the first date, it would be casual dinner with not too much noise so we can get to know each other. Now, let's face it first dates can be fun and exciting and sometimes they can be awkward and uncomfortable and you may find yourself looking for the exit door so you can leave quickly! Chemistry it a must!! Either it is there or not and you know pretty quickly whether it is.

Hi guys! Really this should be simple: I'm just a normal gal looking for a normal guy. Let me start by talking a little about the guy I'm looking for: I tend to be attracted to the clean-cut kind of guy - either kind of geeky or sporty (a combination of the two would be ideal). I'm not looking for a "bad boy" or a biker - although if you ride, it's not a deal breaker. I tend to go for guys who are intelligent, but also would enjoy a day at the ball park. Not into the bar/club scene to meet people - although I do like to occasionally go dancing and/or go out for drinks. Personality wise, I'm a positive, bubbly, outgoing gal who has a tremendously big heart (and tend to wear it on my sleeve). I like to think of the glass as "half full" and not sweat the small stuff. I have my teaching degree and taught first grade for awhile, but now I work at a daycare as the one year old teacher. My interests include outdoor activities (swimming, camping, boating, catching some rays), dinner or drinks out, comedy clubs, or dancing, as well as cuddling on the couch watching a good movie...and YES, I like to watch sports if my significant other is into that (Go Tigers!). I have two teenage daughters ***& ***so you'd have to be ok with that. Give me a chance - you may be pleasantly surprised.**Update: recently started eating better and working out again. Working on a lifestyle change, not just another diet. It comes off a lot more slowly than it goes on!!! :-)Some have asked why does my profile say "dating" vs. "LTR" - eventually I would love to be in a LTR, but I would never jump into one without getting to know that person a bit first...and that takes dating. BTW - not interested in the dating anyone younger than ***thanks, I'm flattered, but that's not really me. PS - if I look at your profile and don't contact you, but you think we may have some things in common, feel free to contact me. (Not interested in anyone under the age of ***thanks though!) I think a first date should be fairly short and be located where my date and I could actually talk and get to know one another a bit. BUT I'm generally up for a lot of different things.

***I haven't been on here in a while, but... all the stuff below is true, that is all me. I tried this a couple of times, I am one of those types of girls (you are not going to believe this) but WANT to avoid drama and BS in a relationship. I am one of those "nice guys (girls) finish last" I think that I was too nice for my own good. I guess some guys like a bit of a challenge. I thought maybe I should try not to be so nice, but it's not me. So, I guess it's better for not being wanted because I am too nice, Versus being liked for who I am not.***original post***below ***Joined) I am an all around kind of girl. I am shy, but like attention. I think I am a fun person to hang around with, whether it's going to an art gallery, camping, racing, or to a game or the show (by show, I mean car shows, air shows, boat races) I don't go out dancing much, but like to dance. I like listening to some music on the beach sipping on a beverage or even listing to nothing up on the river. Oh and I like to cook too. I enjoy all sorts of music, Country is my main genre, but I like blues, jazz, old rock and roll, not into acid rock or opera or vulgar rap. I am shy, until I get to know someone. I like listening to some music on the beach location, sipping on a beverage and listening to some music.
