Dating shouldn't be so hard, but it seems to be.My closest friends would describe me as being a little shy. I'm not much of a social butterfly when I'm around people I don't know, but I will strike up a conversation. I don't like to talk about myself, but I will ask questions to get to know people. When I set my mind to something, I usually get it done. Case in point, I graduated college last year. I went non-stop for three years while working a full-time job, and I really had to take a year off just to recover. Needless to say, I haven't had much of a social life. I have gone back to school to further my education and advancement at work. It's just one class, so I will still have time to get to know and spend time with you.I love football. I yell and cuss at the tv when I'm watching football. I'm so glad football season is here!! I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I dress professionally during the week, so I like to be comfortable on the weekends. I like to walk in the evenings, but I'm not obsessed with my weight or an exercise nut. I would like to lose a few pounds; who doesn't. I am an average size 12. I have just the right amount of curves because, hey, I AM a woman. I've read some of the profiles on here where some of you guys are looking for someone fit. Well, that's not me, not in that sense anyway. I'm healthy, and I'm okay with that. I smoked for 20 years and quit almost seven years ago. I also quit drinking when I quit smoking. To me, smoking and drinking went hand in hand. I don't mind if you drink, but that's the reason I don't.Random thoughts: My favorite time of the year is fall. My favorite month is October - for the weather, the fall colors, and, of course football. My favorite color is blue. My favorite baseball team is the NY Mets. My favorite group of all time is Journey. I prefer to listen to 80s music on cd than the car radio. The cd in my car I am currently listening to is Def Leppard Greatest Hits. I DON'T like facial hair on guys - beards, moustaches, goatees - some times I think you guys look better without those. Currently playing on my ipod is Saga - Wind Him Up. Gosh, remember that song??? That was one of my favorite songs on the album. My mom is Irish, so I'm half-Irish. My best feature, in my opinion: my eyes. I have blue eyes, light brown hair, fair skin, and I look younger than my age. I hope your passport is current!Right now I'm hoping to meet someone closer to my age who is nice, honest, loyal, cute and sweet, a good communicator, and trustworthy with just the right amount of chemistry who won't mind starting off as friends first. I want my guy to be my best friend; the one person I can't live without. And I want him to feel the same way about me. We both deserve nothing less. I've been single (by my own choice) for far too long. I'm hoping to meet someone who is closer to my age who I can watch football with; someone who likes to go to the movies and museums; Bottom line, gentlemen, I am putting a serious effort into finding my soul mate. All I need now is for you to find me, or for me to find you. I'm putting this in God's hands now. Speaking long-term, that will get old after awhile.
