About Me

To describe myself I am laid back, loving, enjoy having and searching out a good time with the person I am with, open-minded and accepting. I think physical attraction IS very important but I also want to be able to have good conversation and poke fun at life with that person; laughter is Important. Also, I do not like or have time for negative individuals; I'm a happy girl and like to surround myself with similar people. My music taste is very broad;; not crazy about country though. I am an avid reader, there is always a book nearby; I like reading about people and their lives, horror and suspense. I enjoy traveling whether it is a weekend trip or something far away and new, always like to see/try new places/things. If you have a question, just ask. My son is 20 so I am pretty much a free bird with regards to that sort of thing. I have a somewhat crazy schedule; I teach, and have started back to finish up the last few classes I need for my bachelors; that being said 1. its unfair of me to expect you to bend over backwards for me and I won't; 2. if you want someone who you can be with ***I am not your girl; people need to do some things apart from each other. My main expectation is to hopefully meet a great person that I will want to be around again; after that well, we will see. **Note** Sometimes I have a tendency to hide my profile, work has me busy at times with little down time and I also get tired of pushy, needy people. I try to be polite and answer messages back but if I don't I apologize; don't take it to heart....I am just some random person you may have reached out to.     I'm a divorced Mom of two young adults ***and 13), who just recently ended a subsequent long term relationship. The kids are getting older and doing their own things, it's time to be me! I'm a little sarcastic n tend to need a filter, but I'm honest, loyal, and hardworking. I appreciate those same qualities in my partner. I'd like to say I can be funny, but I've noticed lately, I'm the only one laughing at myself. Ha! I actually quit smoking a year ago, cold turkey, but I put occasionally on my profile, mainly bc from time to time, the urge is still there. At the same time, I'm not now suddenly anti-smoker advocate. If you smoke, I can tolerate it, if you don't, that's good for me too. So yes, at the moment I'm overweight. I admit it n I dont like it. Cant say it's easy working fulltime, caring for home and children and supporting their activities. Quit my second job ***yrs ago after 5 years and feeling brain dead. My needs kind if took backseat. Maybe I shouldn't have quit smoking lol. I'm open to someone caring for me for a change. Really? Who knows, but something low key, coffee, drinks, somewhere to talk and see if there are any sparks!I don't fish, but boats are cool. I don't own a Harley (not anymore that is), but I still have my own helmet n boots! Lol I like laying on the beach and reading a good book or listening to music, enjoying a frosty beverage and tiki bars! None of this should be construed as "I'm outdoorsy" yeah, bc I'm not. Not a camper, don't like bugs!
