I recently moved to the area…a transplant from SoCal. I grew up and spent most of my life in the beach cities outside of L.A. My hobbies at this time include volunteering through work and church to help organizations and people in need as well as my kids. I like to try lots of new things, who knows I just might find another hobby or interest to add to the rest. I am on the board for an animal foster which I enjoy very much. I would like to find a respectful, fun guy and maybe go to dinner so that we can get to know each other, from there if the weather allows we could go for a walk or sit by a lake and visit. I am terrible at bowling but that can also be fun, makes you come out of your shell a little! I like movies, however I don't think they are the best for a first date because you can not talk and get to know each other. I think communication is very important for a successful relationship or friendship. If you know you are not interested after the first date just say so. I respect a person for being honest and upfront. I would ask that if you are not attracted to me or you are not looking for a long term relationship that you be honest and just tell me I will respect you for that.
