Definition of insanity: Doing the same thing, over and over, and expecting a different result. Hahaha, trying the meetville thing AGAIN!!I had quite the novel up on my profile last time, but am going to go about it a little differently, this time... More of an extended essay... ??I work in an office during the week. Not my dream job, but it pays the bills. On the weekends, I am a volunteer at a small local zoo. This is what I LOVE and what makes me happiest! Hoping to be able to be zookeeping full-time once season hits. I am def an outdoor girl. I need to be in nature to bring me back to center. I love being in the ocean, hiking, kayaking, exploring, digging, planting, building.I'm passionate about a lot of things - most importantly - equality among people, fairness, compassion, kindness, learning, and doing the right thing. I really enjoy learning about other cultures, religions, places.I have a hard time with closed-minded people.I am out-going, friendly, passionate, honest, loyal, adventurous, happy, mostly optimistic (although I do occasionally get irritated while driving -.. AAAAGHH!!), sarcastic, and smart. I have been married and divorced and don't feel the need to get married again, although I am not opposed to it. I don't have kids and I think I'm a little old to start that now, and am completely ok with that.I do have two cats and a rescue parrot who makes me laugh like nothing else!In the past ten years I have had a lucrative career in yacht financing, spent 3 years as a zookeeper at Lion Country Safari, and worked for a while as a stewardess on a 90ft yacht in the Bahamas. I'm not a vegetarian, but pretty close.I have owned a sailboat.I like to swim in the ocean.Sometimes my 'filter' doesn't work.I can be shy.I love camping - in a tent! I miss the mountains.I miss waves in the ocean.My brother is just about my favorite person in the world.Sometimes I curse to emphasize a point.I like to cook, but don't do it too often, it's no fun to cook for one.I've seen the Dalai Lama in person.I've seen the Grateful Dead in concert 3x (but I don't really remember!I love Indian food!I don't go to clubs.I have a terrible singing voice and will dance when I'm drunk.I don't drink often, but when I do, I drink tequila.My parents have been married for 46 years.I can use power tools.must make a note on my faith... Buddhist is probably closest to what I believe and attempt to practice, but I try to integrate the good of all religions into my life. If you have strong Christian beliefs, please know that we may have some differences in that regard. :) I am fit and am looking for the same. All of my pics are recent and look like me. I am 43 years old, 5'3", 110#. (People tell me I look mid-30's and I DON'T think I'm very photogenic)Please have more than one picture of you up, and pictures with hats and sunglasses don't count. I am a 43 yr. young mother of 3 children. Ages 25, 22, & 12. They are & always will be, my life, my reason for living! I am being honest, I have been separated from my hubby for 10 months & will not be going back to him. It was over a long time ago just haven't finalized papers yet. Navy brat, water baby, MISS THE BEACH!!!! Therefore I love the warmer seasons because I love to be outside. Especially when I can swim or just lounge beside the pool, work in my flower gardens, play with my daughter or my dogs.You can't be afraid of large dogs because I have a Rottweiler and a Husky and they are just big babies. I am currently disabled, but don't let that word scare you because I am still kicking!! I am a strong, independent, woman & I can still handle everything life throws at me. I have been seriously working on getting rid of the weight gained from being bedridden & the 4 surgeries I have undergone in 5 years. I have lost 43 pounds, but I want to get back to my pre-injury weight and I WILL SUCCEED! I also want to be able to get back into horseback riding, hiking, & kneeboarding! I also want to quit smoking & be as healthy as I can be!I am not the kind of woman who is afraid of breaking a nail or getting dirty. I am a Daddy's girl, so I can work on my own car, mow my own lawn, pretty much whatever needs to be done I can do it.I started painting abstract art a couple years ago. I had never painted anything in my life besides finger paints in elementary school. I still paint abstracts but i have done some waterfalls, beaches, I never know what I am going to do until I pick up the brush.; I was bored!! LOLI like many different genres of music, from old country, to Awolnation, 80's music, heavy metal and some classical. Spontaneous! One minute I may be watching tv and the next I am rearranging my living room or coming up with a renovation project. It depends on my mood :-)I am looking for a man who can be honest, loving, not afraid to show affection, knows the real meaning of intimacy, needs to be strong emotionally & mentally, physically is a plus ;-) I want a man, not another child to raise. I will not be your mother, your maid, or your cook. I know we all have baggage from previous relationships, but please try to leave them behind.     A little about me...honest, caring, fun loving, can be spontaneous at times as well as very stubborn, outgoing, etc., etc., you get the picture.I'd just like to add...My kids are my life, but I feel that I also deserve a little me time.
