About me:Hmmm, well, I have been single for almost 2 years now. I am not actively seeking a relationship, in my experience relationships happen when you least expect, so I am not going to limit myself by saying I am not interested in having a relationship, because that could eliminate the possibility before it even happens. Let's just say that I am open to anything that may or may not transpire. Don't get me wrong, I love the feeling of being in love, it's a great feeling to know that you are special and important to someone, and to feel needed.I chuckle at the men on here that claim to have athletic bodies, when clearly this is not the case. I guess athletic describes my body type best, as I don't really fit in to any of the categories offered. I do get plenty of exercise, but I am not rock hard, I am slender and petite.A friend once said to me, "Life is about choices, and I think if people just thought about things a little harder, then it could reduce the chance of regret later on." Life is way too short to live with regret as I am beginning to learn. I am still a work in progress, I am great at giving advice, but like a lot of people, I have a hard time practicing what I preach. My philosophy is to keep it simple, and not sweat the small stuff.I absolutely love music, without it I think the world would be a pretty dismal place. I listen to a lot of different types, I am a rocker at heart, but lately I have been listening to folk/rock music, but Tool is one of my favorite bands. I like to sing and I also like to dance, I was in a dance company in my youth, I mostly did contemporary, some modern, and a little ballet as well as 6 years of competitive gymnastics. I love to travel, I have been to a few countries so far, and plan on exploring as many as possible in the rest of my time here.I am friendly, pretty outgoing, and no dummy, I know a little about a lot of things, and sometimes I surprise myself when I play jeopardy. My mind is full of a lot of random information and facts that can come in handy from time to time. I like a man who holds the door open for me, chivalry is not dead in my world. You don't have to have impeccable manners, but if every second word that comes out of your mouth is f*ck this and f*uck that, then it's not going to happen. That's a major turn off to me. Not saying I never swear, I most certainly do from time to time.So if any of what I have said here intrigues you, then feel free to say hello. You don't have to write a novella or anything. If I like what you say, find you attractive and I like your profile, then maybe we can establish a rapport and see where it leads. Please post a picture of yourself if you want to talk to me, otherwise I will not respond.Good luck out there, and cheers! Let's chat for a while, and see if we connect. If we do, then we can meet somewhere for a couple of drinks perhaps?

I work a lot, but looking to have a life outside of work. I have two mid- teen kids. Would prefer to find someone that eventually would like to be part of my family, because they are my life. I'm very confident and secure in who I am. Don't try to change me. I'm a homebody but I also love to travel. It would be nice to have a friend ( companion ) who likes quality time together. I think it's time to move on and go forward. I don't want to say I want a relationship right off the bat, but it would be nice to have company and grow into a relationship. I'm there for my kids ***and 13 and it would be nice to share time with the right person. If your interested in knowing more, send me a message :) Have a coffee and relax with some mild conversation of likes and dislikes. Be real. Don't talk about the past - what's your bucket list? Enjoy one another's company and be honest - yourself. Friendship is the basis of a relationship. Without it, there is no foundation.
