Hi!I have a great career that is chugging along nicely, one that I enjoy and I appreciate the life it affords me. Like many others here, I have great friends and family (I swear, mine are better ;-) that I take the time to enjoy as much as I can. I have been called a foodie (I could be called worse) and I enjoy experimenting with food and wine both in our fantastic city at large and at home in my kitchen. I love to cook but it is always more fun with a sous chef at my side and a glass of wine in my hand. I have traveled quite extensively which has only proven to me that there is so much more to see and experience.... I am in my happy place when exploring hidden gems of the world.) I enjoy being outside on the ocean, on the mountains or in the city. I love to snowboard and "surf"..see foodie reference above) to cuddled up to watch a good movie or an episode of the Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Shameless or The Newsroom.My "fit" would be a man with a little edge- and by that i do not mean face-tattoo-edge - I mean witty and would feel comfortable at an indie concert or a wine tasting, and someone with varied life experiences.I am independent and self sufficient but I would like to meet that one man I can consider a partner in the true sense of the word - to take care of each other when one needs care, to share in life's realities, humour, dreams, hardships, and successes. The fun part... where you try and describe who you are in a nutshell. So here goes: I'm a caring, compassionate person who always looks at the positives in any situation. I have had many tough experiences in life that have made me into the person I am today. I could be bitter and resentful, yet I am grateful. I wouldn't be who I am without going through struggle. I am a mom to three amazing boys, who I know will be great fathers one day. I recently moved to Cranbrook and know less than a handful of people here. I am a fish outta water here but I do love change. I have created a workshop series on change and hope to make it a success here in my new community. I love animals and would take in every last stray if I could! (Don't worry, I'm not a crazy cat lady). No cats actually, but one day I shall have a sphynx, aka: hairless alien wrinkle cat.(If I don't have too many other rescue animals by then). I love anything different or funky.
