Hi!I have a great career that is chugging along nicely, one that I enjoy and I appreciate the life it affords me. Like many others here, I have great friends and family (I swear, mine are better ;-) that I take the time to enjoy as much as I can. I can be serious when appropriate, but friends who know me would say I am playful, light hearted and look for humour in daily life. I have been called a foodie (I could be called worse) and I enjoy experimenting with food and wine both in our fantastic city at large and at home in my kitchen. I love to cook but it is always more fun with a sous chef at my side and a glass of wine in my hand. I have traveled quite extensively which has only proven to me that there is so much more to see and experience.... I am in my happy place when exploring hidden gems of the world.) I enjoy being outside on the ocean, on the mountains or in the city. I love to snowboard and "surf"..see foodie reference above) to cuddled up to watch a good movie or an episode of the Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Shameless or The Newsroom.My "fit" would be a man with a little edge- and by that i do not mean face-tattoo-edge - I mean witty and would feel comfortable at an indie concert or a wine tasting, and someone with varied life experiences.I am independent and self sufficient but I would like to meet that one man I can consider a partner in the true sense of the word - to take care of each other when one needs care, to share in life's realities, humour, dreams, hardships, and successes. What to say in this little white box ? Do I use up all the lines telling all about me?? Do I leave some details to the imagination, is this all on a need to know basis?? Maybe a mix of all of it.Me: Sounds odd but I am ok being single, I like having say in the decisions about my holidays, movies I see, hobbies, etc etc. However, it's always more fun sharing these adventures with someone you like and care about so here I am looking for that special someone. Fit, Fun and Forty. What does one say about themselves on here? I love the outdoors for our two seasons summer and winter. I like winter when it is not ***then I am in front of a fire place with a beverage or board game. Playing golf, trip to the mountains, a hike, working out, camping (real camping) chilling, football/hockey game. Calgary Stampede. Watching the sun rise or set (while sipping wine)Independent and out going. Have two great boys which I adore and love. I share them half the time with their Dad. I can't imagine my life with out them. What do I want? Well life is fun, but better when you have someone you love that comes along for the ride. Support each other but at the same time laugh at each other. Make each other feel loved. It is great to have the same interests but I will have mine and you will have yours, but if we connect we will want to do almost everything together:)) I do enjoy someone who is easy going, adventurous, fit, laughs, spontaneous and likes to stay active but at the same time does not feel uncomfortable just hanging doing nothing. No drama needed but Honesty yes. PDA is a bonus. OH and I am not on here to chat endelessly so if you aren't interested in meeting please move on. Doing something outdoorsy/athletic, or just going for a beer or two. (I don't drink coffee :)) Water yes.
