About Me

Hi guys :) I closed my account because of ONE bizarre experience, and I decided I cannot let that ruin me. So I am here again because I have yet to find my perfect fish, maybe there's no such thing but I truly believe in my heart that there is someone out there for me to be 'imperfect' with... I realize we all have little things that make us special, needs and desires that must line up in order for things to work out long term. I am ready to put myself out there to this big pond. It's scary to feel vulnerable but I am positive it will be worth it in the long run.I am a cheerful and happy girl, I put 'average' body type but I do have curves :) and of course I have a bit of a darker side, (who doesn't?) ...but in a good way I think. :) ......I just want to find the one that has a similar way of looking at life. Please don't message me if you're just looking for something 'casual', and by that I mean just for a hook up. I am certainly not saying I want to rush into anything either, quite the opposite. I would like to build a great foundation with someone and be able to work towards the long term....I want someone who is trustworthy and loyal to just me. I will say up front I have come from a relationship where it was more give than take.. .. believe me, I am the type of person that loves to give and pamper my person with things to make them happy, I just believe that should be a ***thing. Or at least ***lol.I love love love hockey ( I live for October, for many reasons), I use music as therapy. I adore my one and only daughter, she makes me proud.I have my kitty cats, 2 of them (one is 14 this year tho) I think having pets is good for the soul. Good coffee is a MUST in my book. I am part Italian, could be why it's so important to have a good strong cup of coffee w/raw honey and cream to start my work day/night .....mmmmm I am a bit of a homebody but I think that's because I haven't had anyone that has challenged me out. (which I really miss) I love to play tennis but haven't had a buddy to do that for a while. I like to go out and do random stuff with my potential sweetheart...     I like to laugh, and am pretty happy generally with how my life is, I have great friends and I spend time with my family, I would just like a partner to share life with.I like to spend time at gallery openings, seeing live music, theatre, and dance, with a broad range of tastes in all. I love alternative rock and jazz and finding dives around the world to see it. I love outdoor concerts in the sun and intimate venues too. I love classical and singer/songwriter stuff. I cook like crazy, am half Italian and versed in French cooking, but most things I make are based on whole, organic foods made from scratch. I love fine dining and finding amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I hate the word "foodie" and get called it a lot.I have travelled quite a bit and hope to do more. I like travelling in a variety of ways: road trips, backpacking or 5 star it, and pride myself on packing light. I have a passport, undies and a toothbrush in my purse at all times, ready for impromptu getaways.I am looking for someone who can hold a conversation, I like to talk about politics, religion and other topics that polite girls aren't supposed to broach, particularly over a bottle of a good red. On the other hand, I love puns, and being silly. I want someone who is a bit old fashioned, as I can't possibly make all the decisions and first moves. I like someone who has manners but is not pretentious. I don't want to be stood up, lied to or taken advantage of. I value quality over quantity.
