Profiles all start to sound the same after awhile so I will try to keep this simple. I have a close family, I love to cook, I own my own power tools, I camp outside in a tent and I think it is important to pamper myself from time to time. My favorite things include my little black dress, live music, street fairs, funnel cake, laughing so hard that I start to cry, rainy Sundays on the couch, that high after a good workout, first kisses, red wine and great conversation. Things I hate: let start with all the unnecessary skin I see on this website. Really, guys, keep your #%$^ clothes on!! I am not going to base whether or not I want to talk / meet on how your abs (or your crotch) look in a photo. And if you are that shallow then I know that you are going just off of looks. Being attracted to each other is important, but it is the easy part, it is just DNA. Don't you want to get past that and find out if we have a connection? I know I do. I have never broken up with someone for looks, only for personality or incompatibility. How about you?I like to think I am smart, funny, compassionate, hard working and that I know how to unwind. My friends and my family come first, right up there with my significant other when I have one. I love my life. The only thing I want is someone that gets me, and adores me, that I can share it with. I have learned a few things from my online dating experience that will save us both a little time: - DO NOT *** A PHOTO. It is only fair. When you look at my pics, but you don't have any, it is kind of peeping-Tom-ish. - *** texts are great to get started, but I believe in real conversation, real dates and real chemistry. - It is not a date if you ask me out in a text message. - Don't send me naked (or semi-naked) photos, don't tell me I am hot or that I turn you on, and don't ask me what positions I like. If that is your idea of an icebreaker, I am not the girl for you. The first date should be low key and encourage conversation. It is not about what you do, it is about who you are with.

I just want to try to meet some new people. I love to laugh, try new things, have a good time, go out, stay in, see good movies, go to museums, be with my dog, read, go camping, and more. If you are looking for one night stands, look somewhere else. I hope this doesn't sound mean but please don't message me if your profile pictures are of you with your shirt off. That just seriously turns me off. I'm looking for someone to spend time with. It may even just turn out to be friends. Ultimately, yes, I'd like to find someone to possibly spend my life with. I really would enjoy taking care of someone... That sounds super corny, but it's true. I'd love to have someone come home at night that I could cook for, etc. If that sounds good to you, write me back! I would prefer a "quick" first date; public place... coffee maybe, or lunch.
