I think it is great to "unplug" for a few days. I like to cook and bake. I am the type of person who will bake you your favorite cookies just because. I like to do thoughtful things like that to put a smile on someone's face. I like new experiences, and I want to expose my children to different things, so I take them camping, to the theater, museums, sporting events, concerts, etc. It would be great to have another adult to enjoy these things with too. :) I am a self-proclaimed nerd. I read a lot (my bookshelves are overflowing), watch a lot of movies, know a bunch of random facts and trivia, can quote movies and TV shows, and use made-up words like floopy. I am a very open-minded, tolerant individual. I think everyone is entitled to their beliefs/opinions, as long as those beliefs do not infringe on the rights of anyone else. I don't mind if we don't agree about politics or religion, as long as you don't try to force your beliefs on me.What am I looking for? Communication, an open-mind, laughing til it hurts. Someone who is physically, emotionally, and intellectually compatible. Intelligent conversation. Someone who will challenge my mind. It may sound corny, but I recently heard the song "Smile" by Uncle Kracker on the radio, and I thought--that's what I want. And that's what I want to be for somebody. Low-key dinner or drinks where we can talk and get to know each other. Something entertaining or engaging, such as live music, a sporting event, mini-golf, the zoo, etc. I think it really depends on the person I am with. Hopefully we know enough about each other so we can come up with a fun, mutually agreed-upon activity. Although, I do like surprises! :)
