Hi…I’ I’m a good hearted and intelligent woman. I am by no means an exercise nut but I do like to get out and be active in my lifestyle. If something is interesting and fun, I’m all for it. I enjoy the company of others who are knowledgeable and like to talk about various things. Traveling is what I enjoy most and I still have lots of places I want to see. I also enjoy my time with close friends and family. I am comfortable in most social situations and confident with who I am. I am not really into the club scene any longer but I do like a good dive bar or lounge. Looking forward to meeting new people with a great sense of humor and those that don’t take themselves too seriously. I avoid negative people generally. I feel that life is tough already and there is no need to focus on the negatives. I think I am hilarious but that could be a very biased opinion, so I’ll let you judge for yourself. It would be great to meet someone that is willing to be friends and then if there is a connection, just let it naturally progress from there. I am looking to build something solid and lasting with that someone special. Some place low key where we can talk and get to know each other.

    I am a single mom to a 3 year old girl. I love to read, write and cook. I'm an English and history teacher without a classroom, so I substitute teach and work as a freelance technical editor. A perfect would date would not be the traditional dinner and a movie. Dinner, yes, but not a movie. I want to that first meeting to be a time to get to know the person through conversation. The activities could vary from browsing a bookstore or art gallery together to going on a hike. Even something low-key like just having coffee at Starbucks is great.
