In the process of changing this......will fill in more later, but here are some highlights for now:-I grew up in NJ (NOT on the shore, or off a turnpike exit), went to OH for my bachelor degrees, and ended up in AZ about 7 years ago for grad school.-For my PhD (yes, I have a PhD) I studied the behavior of wild chimpanzees, which means I was living in a tent in the middle of nowhere with no running water or electricity for a year....it was actually pretty awesome.-I just graduated, so I am in the process of applying for jobs. That means I'm in AZ for the next few months at least, but after that, I could end up anywhere.

I travel a lot for work right now, but love what I do! I am an animal lover and have several pets. I like to snowboard, play guitar, get tattoos, drink many varieties of adult beverages, eat awesome food which I am super picky about and do most anything outdoors (like camping, hiking, being a beach bum whenever I get the chance). I listen mostly to country, classical, alternative and grunge but I am open to almost anything new. I'm a constantly evolving creature and it is likely that just when you think you have me figured out, I will have changed. I am reserved when I first meet someone but I don't think that is the same as shy. I am pretty feisty with a little bit of an attitude. I'm a tough girl but I love my family, my friends are very important to me. What I am looking for:I am looking to be in a relationship. I'm not talking about diving in head first - we can test the waters, of course. But I want to date with the intention of finding the one I want to be with.I want to find someone who wants to treat me like a princess (open doors for me, take me out and show me off every once in a while) but loves my independant nature.
