I'm optimistic and try to find humor and / or the silver lining in every situation. That also goes for life, you get what you give and unless you put some "come at me bro! I can do this!" out there with a smile, then you're destined for blah. ness. First dates are like interviews, and you don't get sloshed on an interview. Coffee is good, that way if the butterflies don't show up you can shake hands and go to the grocery store.

I enjoy being outdoors - biking, running, hiking, camping, kayaking but also like to be pampered from time to time. I don't mind being outside and getting dirty, but I might turn around and get a massage or pedicure the next day.
