I occasionally write poetry (although lately I have only written refrigerator magnet poetry}. I enjoy a good book; and, in recent years, have been reading nonfiction pretty exclusively.; I have just ordered "Spontaneous Evolution," by Dr.; seeing him in a recent film about the future. I recently bought a house & have done extensive remodeling & am enjoying the house & garden. I am basically looking for someone who can see the goddess in me & in whom I can see the god. Favorite things to do on a first date: Go to an art museum & discuss the work afterwards. Take a walk in a beautiful, natural setting & discuss great books/ideas or spirituality afterwards. Have a good meal at a great (healthy) restaurant & while discovering our common interests & shared passions.

I have lived in St. Louis for 20years. I consider myself a social person but it seems that I'm at an age where meeting people isn't as easy as it use to be. I love being outdoors. I enjoy simple things like long walks, listening to music, the zoo, road trips, and I like being around water, anything from fishing to boating. I'm a great passenger on a motorcycle. I think you can determine if there is any kind of connection during that first date at least the connection of knowing you would like to get to know the person better or not.Like I said I like to keep things simple!
