Hi there! I have a happy, active and healthy life. I have worked hard and raised good kids. Now have more time to focus on me, I am positive, looking forward to what's next. It would be great to find that person to share the best that's ahead of us in life - I just can't imagine the upcoming years of my life alone, without finding that person. But it seems like there are so many of us looking for the same thing and I believe the saying...what was meant to be. I guess that is why I keep an open mind about this online approach. About me, I would say I am creative, funny, caring, confident, intuitive, flexible, pretty smart (not brainy), look on the bright side of life, and find ways to have fun. Being on my own, I have learned to be pretty self-sufficient although I use creative methods to get some of the harder work done (not exactly good with power tools, chainsaws or lawn mowers) . I come from a larger family of 6 kids and even though we have all grown up and our parents are gone, we stay connected and get together a few times a year. My kids are the best part of my life, both girls are married (no grand kids yet). They are building their lives and we still have fun hanging out. Things I like to do (more fun to do with someone);About you, first a best friend, positive, respectful,interesting, genuine, funny, shares stories and new adventures, makes me laugh, has an open mind and kind heart and is also in a good place in life with family and friends to share. I hope you also believe life was meant to be shared with one special person and are looking to see if there is that spark that makes us only want to spend more time together. Doing fun things that would please the Lord. I like to go on motorcycle, hot rod, boat, plane and train rides. Maybe even a horse??? I like steam locomotive, movies and going out to eat, and staying in watching tv or movies at home. I can cook....well if I know I am going to cook. It may not be my first thing but I can like to do it sometimes. I like to do lots of different things, if you with someone fun you can usually have a good time doing anything. I am easy going type person.I like the water and the warm weather. Fall is pretty but I like it warm the best. Winter is for bringing spring. I like spring for the warmer weather and nature comes back out again. Summer heat better than snow!!!My kids are grown now and I have more time for the thing I want to do as long as it pleasing to the Lord. I do enjoy going to church on Sunday's. But you don't have to be a Bible thumper to love the Lord. Just know what is important. My friend and I stay busy with lots of things, usually end up planning cards somewhere. Going out for coffie or to eat and for a walk or a ride, to talk to get to know each other.
