About Me

I am an easy going woman who is not sure of what she enjoys or likes these days. However I am in the process of figuring out just what excites, egnites, and keeps me going. I am somewhat of a homebody, but want to try to get out of that mindset. I want to discover who I am, as my life enters a new stage! After 15 years of being a single parent I am finally ready to begin another phase of my life. I'm an awesome mother and proud of it, but to be honest it's time for me. My kids are grown and I have done a good job raising them. I want to be first for a little while. I am taking that first step, to discover just who I am and try to open up a whole new world for myself and possibly figure out some things about myself that I never knew. Just somewhere that we can get to know each other with no pressure on either of us. Some place public and fun.     Thanks for taking the time to read this. I think I had an easier time writing my work resume. I work some pretty crazy hours and days/nights so if you're a patient guy, please read on. If not, thanks for stopping by. I enjoy all kinds of music and an occasional play; like to go to festivals and movies. I don't drink very often and never if I'm driving. I'm not a bad cook and like to try new recipes (wanna be my food critic?) I do the typical 'household things' like cook, clean, sew, crochet (basic square or rectangle things only), quilt, paint, and I've even carved kachina dolls. I love non-reptile pets but don't own any. Okay...I'm not fond of rodents either, but love rabbits. I've only ridden a horse a few times but find them facinating animals and like being around them. I grew up in the suburbs so I'm not very knowledgeable about farm animals, but hey! I'm flexible, I could learn. Yeeesssss.... I get my nails done, but that doesn't mean I don't hesitate to pitch in, okay, if I'm wearing gloves. I retired from the military and look forward to retiring from my current job in about 12 months.
