I came from a big family so I often think in terms of "the more the merrier" in parties, cooking, get-togethers etc. Growing up in a large, noisy family, I developed into less of an "orchid" and more of a "dandelion": self-sufficient, disciplined and determined. I try not to whine and I don't blame my parents for the way my life has turned out. In fact, I actually like the way my life has turned out! Coffee, lunch, drinks or dinner. Whatever and wherever is convenient and not too noisy or distracting.I prefer to not spend too much time e-communicating. Not liking this part very much. Can't we just talk on the phone? I was married for 20 years. Divorced/separated now for five years. Two grown children making their own decisions while I sit back and cringe while biting my tongue. I have steady employment in the nonprofit medical field which is almost exactly what I want. Music outside? I will listen to just about anything. Plays, musicals, movies..... festivals, outdoor art events. Count me in.I love a really good coffee first thing in the morning when the sun is coming up and I like to end the day on the patio.
