Not liking this part very much. Can't we just talk on the phone? I was married for 20 years. Divorced/separated now for five years. Two grown children making their own decisions while I sit back and cringe while biting my tongue. I have steady employment in the nonprofit medical field which is almost exactly what I want. Always keeping an eye out for something I might enjoy as much or more. I have worked in medical administration for about 25 years. Just became an empty nester and feel like it's time to make some changes in my life. One of those changes just may include a relationship. Hmmmmm....... Working out and trying new classes.... always a work in progress. It was a great adventure and decided to stay. Met and married. You know the rest........I have a strong personality, good work ethic and I am very committed to my family and friends. I enjoy others who have strong personalities, smart asses even and a sarcastic wit. Talking politics (not arguing), history, causes and just light banter. And, of course, total silence sometimes..... with that level of comfort that only comes with being close.Being outdoors is appealing to me in the cooler weather. Weekend trips that begin on a Friday are a must. Throw in some traveling with a purpose and I would be very happy.Music, I am all over the place. Not really rap or country though. Enjoy live events. Music outside? I will listen to just about anything. Plays, musicals, movies..... festivals, outdoor art events. Count me in.I love a really good coffee first thing in the morning when the sun is coming up and I like to end the day on the patio. Talking about our day or not........The rest we can talk about over coffee or a drink maybe. Feel free to ask me questions. I won't respond to 'meet me' requests.     Thanks for taking the time to read this. I think I had an easier time writing my work resume. I work some pretty crazy hours and days/nights so if you're a patient guy, please read on. If not, thanks for stopping by. I enjoy all kinds of music and an occasional play; like to go to festivals and movies. I don't drink very often and never if I'm driving. I'm not a bad cook and like to try new recipes (wanna be my food critic?) I do the typical 'household things' like cook, clean, sew, crochet (basic square or rectangle things only), quilt, paint, and I've even carved kachina dolls. I love non-reptile pets but don't own any. Okay...I'm not fond of rodents either, but love rabbits. I've only ridden a horse a few times but find them facinating animals and like being around them. I grew up in the suburbs so I'm not very knowledgeable about farm animals, but hey! I'm flexible, I could learn. Yeeesssss.... I get my nails done, but that doesn't mean I don't hesitate to pitch in, okay, if I'm wearing gloves. I retired from the military and look forward to retiring from my current job in about 12 months.
