Hummm.....Describe myself.....Well.. I love to laugh. I try to find humor in almost everything. I'm a music lover and honestly I think the only time I don't hear some type of music in my head is when I'm sleeping. I'm mom to an adult child. Being a mom has been the best thing I've ever done and the thing I'm most proud of. I'm not super physical and I have to make myself go to the gym. It's just not high on my priority list unless I have time to spare. Plus my job is kind of physical and do I want to go workout after 8 hours of a physical beating? Probably not. I don't do out-; such but I really believe that for the right person, all things are possible. It's the give and take thing. Besides, I like to think I'm open minded and would try something I've never done if I met someone I knew it was important to. (I do have a line though as I'm very afraid of heights) I like to dress up for a nice evening and I like to lounge around in my comfys. I love movies and live entertainment with music being my very favorite. I love to people watch but don't do much of that lately. I work with the public and for the most part seeing them all day is enough.I've been told I'm a good listener, that I'm funny and sassy... Sassy? does that mean "smart a--?" I'm kind of independant but that's really because I've had to be. As for the "dating" thing on my profile, I use that term because it's what has to be done to get the end result. I'd love to find someone for the long term but I don't want to put pressure on anything. I'd like to let it grow and form in it's own time. I'm not a serial dater. Reality? I haven't been on a date in over a year. We'll see if this site changes that.So I hope you were able to find out what you needed to know from this profile. I feel the first meet should be very light so you can figure out if you really want to spend a "date night" with that person.For a first meet, it's just more comfortable to meet for a drink and a little conversation somewhere easy. Drink does not mean alcohol. It means whatever you drink. But it has to be in a place where normal conversation can be heard.

    Thanks for taking the time to read this. I think I had an easier time writing my work resume. I work some pretty crazy hours and days/nights so if you're a patient guy, please read on. If not, thanks for stopping by. I enjoy all kinds of music and an occasional play; like to go to festivals and movies. I don't drink very often and never if I'm driving. I'm not a bad cook and like to try new recipes (wanna be my food critic?) I do the typical 'household things' like cook, clean, sew, crochet (basic square or rectangle things only), quilt, paint, and I've even carved kachina dolls. I love non-reptile pets but don't own any. Okay...I'm not fond of rodents either, but love rabbits. I've only ridden a horse a few times but find them facinating animals and like being around them. I grew up in the suburbs so I'm not very knowledgeable about farm animals, but hey! I'm flexible, I could learn. Yeeesssss.... I get my nails done, but that doesn't mean I don't hesitate to pitch in, okay, if I'm wearing gloves. I retired from the military and look forward to retiring from my current job in about 12 months.
