I am an active and healthy woman. I like to golf, play tennis and bridge, go to the gym regularly, volunteer and read lots of interesting non-fiction, literary fiction and the WSJ.I eat healthy but don't obsess about my weight. I count my many friends among my most precious assets.I like to dance and prefer contemporary music but enjoy symphony and live opera. When trying to classify myself with one of the terms on the meetville list, I wish I could have selected "thinker" because that's how I see myself.I avoid American pop culture and tabloid television whenever possible. I don't like to spend my vacations shopping and try not to accumulate too much stuff. Existentialism appeals to me, numerology and astrology do not.As I get older, what I know gets less and less and what I only believe gets more and more: I thought it would be the other way around!I am financially stable: no debt, no drugs, no drama and no dark side (but lots of alliteration!).According to the meetville needs assessment, I am "a realist with a touch of hopeless romantic" and I wouldn't argue with that!I consider myself very social and outgoing, easy to talk to, easy to be friends with and spend time with. I came from a big family so I often think in terms of "the more the merrier" in parties, cooking, get-togethers etc. Growing up in a large, noisy family, I developed into less of an "orchid" and more of a "dandelion": self-sufficient, disciplined and determined. I try not to whine and I don't blame my parents for the way my life has turned out. In fact, I actually like the way my life has turned out! Coffee, lunch, drinks or dinner. Whatever and wherever is convenient and not too noisy or distracting.I prefer to not spend too much time e-communicating.
