About Me

Easy going, down to earth, grounded. A bit of a hippie chick. Family and friends are very important to me. I enjoy great early morning workout as much as laying around in bed. I grew up in the caribbean so learned how to take life one day at a time... Being an island girl I love being on or near the water. Water sports like snorkeling, diving, skiing, sailing paddle boarding kayaking, ... have dabbled in all. Fell in love with what this area has to offer. So, I love to sing but can't carry a tune. If you make me laugh, you may win my heart. Casual conversation by the water.

Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.

Looking for: man. In age: 48-58

I'm a 50-year-old professional woman with a demanding job and a creative edge, driven by energy that mostly gets released at the gym. I love music of all sorts -- especially alt rock; play guitar and sing; avidly read and write (in fact, I'm currently commissioned to write a book), and very much involved with my family. I have two grown children and a teen-aged son who lives with me. He keeps me young. He's a great young man.I'm into whole foods and deeply committed to fitness. I love the movie theater but I don't watch a lot of TV (though I have a few favorite shows). I love theater, dancing, concerts, the beach .... I love my job as a magazine and newspaper managing editor, as well as a number of freelance gigs I juggle for fun and to grow. In fact, at this point in my life I am largely about personal growth. You know -- halfway to a hundred and taking stock of things. Isn't the first date awkward? That's why I would like ours to be actually doing something besides sitting looking at one another over dinner and beverages. Let's go out and play. The possibilities are endless. I think people learn more about each other while engaged in reality than they do in a few strained hours.

Woman. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.

Looking for: man. In age: 51-61

confident, easy going and inherently shy until you get to know me. I'm conservative but I certainly know when to let my hair down. After being married for 25 years and now 'reinventing' myself, I'm looking for the last love of my life. I'd rather not waste my time dating a hundred different men but rather take my time and get it right. I don't think you can know someone after the 3rd or 4th date, so if you're in a big hurry for something then I'm not the girl for you. I prefer men who are at least 6 ft. tall with dark hair. I am not a fan of tattoos or piercings, sorry. Don't want to insult anybody but I'm more into the clean cut type. I tend to stay clear of men who post expensive cars, boats, planes and cars with their profile. Once upon a time I had all that stuff and to me it's just that, stuff. Looking for a man who's not trying to prove anything. I quiet location where we can talk. Did someone say, ice cream?

Looking for: man. In age: 49-59

Rather do this in person. However, to meet the character requirements I'll tell you that I'm easy going, spontaneous, love life. Pets welcome, however due to my job I am unable to keep a pet. I'm more of a dog person than a cat.Yoga, hot or hatha. Wine on an outdoor patio. Reading a great book anywhere anytime....I've been gluten free for 16 years, feel better for it.I'm not looking for someone to go to bed with, I'm looking for that person I want to wake up with. I prefer to meet and stroll at the same time. There are so many beautiful parks in our city. If all goes well we could duck into a quiet place for a drink or two....??
