I get asked all the time why am I single since I'm apparently so pretty, smart, funny, cool, etc. Well there are many factors but mostly it's because dating sucks, especially online dating. Everyone seems to be lying about or hiding something be their looks, living situation, job status or criminal records. My son has a laundry list of health issues and spends a decent amount of time in hospitals and doctors offices. Both of my kids are older and guess what, they are genuinely good kids like their Momma. Smart too like their Momma. I'm book smart and street smart and quirky and melodramatic and neurotic and witty and seriously funny at times. I stand out no matter where I go and dance to the beat of a different drummer. I'm too old for games and general bs. I want a relationship build on a foundation of friendship so I'm looking for friends first, if something else comes of it great but if not I'm pretty sure the world will not end and I'll survive. I like most sports, watching, not participating. I don't work out and have no intentions of doing so anytime soon in spite of my cottage cheese thighs.
