Quick question: Why do people "favorite" others on here without messages? If I favorite someone, it's because I want to more about them and will send them a message! :) On any day you will find me laughing, listening to music (most likely country) and taking pictures. I am a teacher by day and I LOVE my job. The kids make my day and wear me out, but I wouldn't trade it. I work with some awesome women who make it fun to be at work. Football is my favorite and many Saturday afternoons I can be found at local college games-rain, snow, sleet and heat, I've sat through it all and LOVE it! I'm also working on my Master's in Zoology, so needless to say I love animals and spend a good amount of time at the zoo. I probably know too much trivial info about the animals but it's fun to me and I am happy to share it with anyone who is interested as well. Who am I looking for? Someone honest. Honesty is essential to me and without it, there's nothing. Someone single who doesn't have a girlfriend or wife. Someone to make me laugh, who enjoys laughing, but can be serious when needed. Someone who follows through with what he says he's going to do, even if it's returning a text. A positive attitude and a non-smoker. But along with those, there has to be that spark. You know what I mean, someone can be the greatest person ever but if that spark, that attraction isn't there, it's not going to go past friends. I'm affectionate and like the same in someone, I love hugs. I just want to find someone to enjoy with, get to know and see where it goes. Are you him? Anything that is low-key, low-pressure and allows for conversation.....

I heard the song on the radio recently from Train, "Brusies" and it really hit home for me. We all have bruises from life, but they make us who we are today. The song says "you are not alone in how you've been, everybody loses...we all got bruises."My bruises: My love passed away unexpectedly and I'm trying to figure out life now. Yes, I am still sad and hurting but I am hopeful that one day I will meet someone to share my life with again. That being said - I am not sure how soon I would be ready to be in a relationship or if I'm really even ready yet. But good honest friends are a plus, so I figured what's it gonna hurt to try this site.I am a single mother of two children. I work full time, always have. When I am dedicated to something or someone I am in 100%. That goes for family, friends, work...I don't skimp. If someone I care for needs something or work expects something I will make every effort to get it done. Loyal.I would like to meet someone that can make me laugh and someone I can be comfortable with sitting in silence or chatting away. I tend to be shy at first, so I tend to gravitate to outgoing people. I am very low key and HATE DRAMA!!! I am sure most people do hate drama...kind of silly to say but it's true. I'm not a high maintenance girl, I can get along with anyone. Though, I have little tolerance for dishonest, selfish, and unkind people. I enjoy doing things with family and friends. I like doing things the kids enjoy, seeing them happy makes me happy. I am not a partier but enjoy the occasional drink here and there with friends when I get kid free time. Usually when I am off from work I stay busy with family oriented outings - park, amusement park, water activities, movies, festivals, etc. I also enjoy little day trips when I have free time - mountains, lake, museums, or anything that involves seeing nature and God's creations. I also like going to the movies and playing games. I do love a nice quiet night at home too. That's always nice when you have someone to share that with. I am not one to play games or be dishonest....so feel free to ask anything. It may not be the answer you want to hear but it will be the truth. I have learned the hard way by losing loved ones and from life in general that life is too short for any of that. I am not gonna try and be someone I am not. We are who we are, "we all got bruises!" Something low key so you can chat and get to know one another.Warning: I'm shy at first so first meetings can be a little awkward...please bare with me until I'm comfortable with you. I promise I don't stay that way! But honestly if you go in looking to meet a new friend, then that takes the pressure off. Who couldn't use a good friend? If there is something more - great, if not new friends are a plus! I am trying to convince myself so I won't be too shy...can you tell?
