Just looking to meet new people. I try and surround myself with positive people and don't have any room for drama in my life so if you are an honest and real person, we should at least have a chance at getting along great! I love meeting new people from all backgrounds and lifestyles. I am very honest, loyal, energetic, fun , creative and positive and look for the same in others. I choose not to associate with liars, people with no ambition and/or people who use drugs so if that's you, sorry but you are not for me. I have fantastic family and friends and they are by far the most important thing in life to me. They are my foundation and I generally look for others who have the same values. I realize life doesn't always work out that way for some and I don't judge, that's just what's ideal for me on a personal level. I've traveled a lot and have seen and experienced a lot in my life so far but still have a lot I'd like to see and do before I leave this world. We only live once right? So why not make every day an adventure of sorts? Live, Laugh, Love and all that jazz. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true! I do try and live my life to the fullest potential as far as what my boundaries and circumstances will allow. I can be wild and crazy (in a fun way, not in a little blue pill way!) but serious when necessary. I'm pretty much always sarcastic and goofy though. You might catch me crying over a movie or book on a night off or might run into me dancing and being a goofball at the pub or a concert etc (although not often) lol I work shift work so it makes having a social life and meeting people difficult.I have a great sense of humor if I can say that about myself. lol I have a lot to offer the right person and am not expecting much out of this, but if I meet someone who has that certain something I'm looking for then excellent!I do have a 10 year old son so if you can't see a child fitting into your life, then unfortunately, I won't either. I'm not looking for a dad, but he is part of the package. I was married up until 5 years ago and i was lucky enough to get an amazing little man out of it. He's a pretty cool kid if I do say so myself ;) PS If you can sing and play the guitar, even better!-isms...that's just creepy! If you know what I'm talking about, even better! :)I love music and listen to all types ranging from rock, to top 40, to country! I have a song for almost every important or standout thing in my life. Kind of like my own personal soundtrack! lolI love being outdoors! Beaches, hiking, sporting events (watching and playing)or even just walking...especially if the sun is out! Totally puts me in an awesome mood! If I had to share an area that I'm lacking in, it would be cooking! I have absolutely no business being in the kitchen! LOL I do TRY, but umm...if you can cook or can teach me, BONUS!!! I love dancing around the kitchen together like dorks with some good tunes, good wine and a lot of laughs and kisses while attempting to create something yummy! If you enjoy conversation (a dying art), I'll love you for it. Nothing sexier than a man who can carry on a meaningful, intellectual and interesting conversation (and look good doing it ;) )Because so many ask what my type is, I figured I'd try and give a little something here based solely on physical attributes. I find myself very attracted to masculine men. Don't shave your legs or your chest if you don't want to. You're a man...it's supposed to be there. I find hairy chests sexy and comforting. I like a warm and sincere smile...one that can light up a room. Tall, dark and handsome is a plus, but not a requirement. I don't really have a check list per say...it's more so a feeling that I'm looking for and I can find many different types attractive for many different reasons. If you met my last few SOs, you'd be baffled at how different they all were. Charisma and confidence are very important.;gangsta" type, please don't don't waste your time, or mine. Although, I think I have an old bejeweller you could have in case you wanted to add some more sequins and jewels to your shirt :pLastly...being employed is a bonus and please...no baggage/drama! If you are just divorced/separated and don't know what you're doing or what you want, figure it out first please. I lived in St Louis for 4 years, and enjoyed it, but missed the country life. I enjoy getting outside, riding my motorcycle, or 4- But I also enjoy dinner and a movie, or just simply staying home and enjoying the evening. I am not a high maintenance girl, relaxing and enjoying the day at home is perfect to me. I do enjoy traveling, but do not get to often with work and school, and the expenses that come with it. I have been a few places, and plan for a few more. I listen to country music mostly, but also listen to rock, classic rock, oldies, christian, or 80's, there is a huge variety of music on my IPOD. I am a family person, and enjoy time with my parents and my sister and her family when I can. I am looking for someone that is down to earth and wants a nice, but simple life. I have out grown the bars, I guess that is why I enjoy home, because bars seem to be the highlight of what people do in Southern IL, I honestly would rather stay home or hit a nice Mexican restaurant for margaritas. Something simple where we can talk and get to know each other. I am looking to date, but having common interests is a must. The first dates are always awkward, dinner and a movie is nice,or just dinner and see how it goes. I am flexible, if in right company the conversation will be enough for a dinner date.
