I am a cool person, generally comfortable in most situations & atmospheres. I feel like I am well rounded and have the ability to interact with a broad range of personalities. I genuinely like to meet new people and expose myself to new ideas, cultures and lifestyles. I moved to the city to pursue my educational goals. I feel like that small town upbringing *** me, a great ability to connect with those I meet and form meaningful and genuine relationships. I prefer to interact with dynamic people who have things to say, but not those who just dominate conversations while saying nothing interesting. A fair and stimulating exchange is not just ideal, but fairly necessary. I like people who've shed much of what I consider the excess nonsense that's been socialized into us. Nothing is worse than having to sit through a conversation that is more like a job interview. I mean, let’s be honest, the exchange should be organic, not this rehearsed, staged spiel on a bunch of crap that no one – including yourself really cares much about. I am pretty much all or nothing when it comes to life. If I am not passionate about something or (in some cases) someone… I most likely won’t get involved, participate or even consider engaging or pursuing it. I feel like life is too short to be bothered with mediocre. I know what I want and I know what I have to offer in exchange. Some of my favorite things...

One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star. --NietzcheHello, my darlings :) I am hoping to find some normalcy on this site, which is probably already asking way too much....I am a full time Philosophy Major, and this is a pursuit that means the world to me as I spent a decade of my life unable to complete my bachelors as I was working full time and taking care of my precious little child! Now I am working part time for my parents as I come closer to my goal of finishing my Bachelors and then moving onto Graduate School for my PhD. Aside from my passion for academics, I love movies, particularly dark and disturbing indie & foreign films, along with strange films that few have ever heard of! The more offbeat, the better! I love cities and going on trips whenever I have the opportunity or the money! Zoos and aquariums are fantastic too, so are amusement parks. I am a huge workout fiend and would love to find a partner who shares that hobby and would enjoy working out with me. I am into healthy eating as well- I eat whole foods and organic foods and don't eat the chemically processed junk which infiltrates the grocery stores!Oh, DOGS over smug, self-righteous cats lol!As much as this does offend some folks, looks DO matter to me. I am only physically attracted to men who are at least somewhat physically fit, are NOT OLDER THAN 45 and NOT YOUNGER THAN 25. I am sorry, but that is just the way it is. It's gonna be a date- don't have the audacity to invite yourself over to my house.

I am looking for smeone who is not on here because they have hit the age where "getting married and having kids" is what they should do with their life. I am looking for someone who has experienced enough trials and tribulations with dating and relationship breakdowns to know exactly what THEY want and deserve in a relationship, not just to "fit the norm". I already have the amazing kids, the cozy house the stability and what I want is someone to share a life with (eventually don't get scared). I believe many people after a marriage or breakup have a chip on their shoulders about relationships and I am the opposite. I am one of those people who would rather leave that bad energy at the door and go into each and every relationship giving 110% and with such honesty and without the games, if it doesn't work that's ok.... as long as it was honest and drama free, I won't regret it. I do believe that it is possible to be happy with the family life and not lose the love, energy and connection as a couple. Those kids and work can certainly suck the life right out of us some days but I am looking for my partner to be my rechargable battery at the end of a bad day or bad week and I would do the same for him. Reciporacation, honesty, generosity, leading by example, taking the higher road, self sustaining and trust I guess are my essentials. Hope that helps.
