I am a mother of 3 boys, 2 of which I have shared custody of, ages 8 and 6. My oldest is 17 and lives with his father full-time. Its been over two years since I've been in a relationship. I started dating back in the spring but nothing worked out. I see myself as a positive person who is adventurous, loving, fun, intelligent, and has decent sense of humor. I believe life is what you make it and I am making a decent one for myself. I enjoy socializing and getting to know people. I love learning. Life sure does throw out the opportunities to do so :-) I stay active. I enjoy hiking, camping, and anything outdoors really. I can pretty much get into any kind of sport. Backyard football, valley ball or whatever, they can be good times. I do enjoy rainy days that you can curl up on the sofa and watch movies or the occasional video game. Mario Kart rules! I am a health nut. I eat like a rabbit pretty much. This life style was forced on me due to some health issues. However, I am grateful for it. Overall I am really just enjoying life and trying to be the best I can be for those around me :-) I am looking for someone who loves life, who can be a part of mine and my children's life and enjoy doing so. I'm not looking for someone to be their father. They have a father who is very much a part of their lives. He must be a good communicator. I believe if the communication is not there its going to fail. Someone who is active and takes care of himself. Looks are not that important to me but there must be an attraction there. An animal lover would be a plus. I have a cat but I'm not really a cat person. Not inside anyway. I'm more of a dog person. This one changed my mind..she is pretty cool. I also have a little mixed breed dog. She just came into the family in the beginning of Sept. She is becoming my best friend! Confidence is a must! Not afraid to be real or afraid to talk about conflicts.Someone willing to go out of his way to let me know he cares. I can't read minds although sometimes I am pretty darn close! Not that I need to much but it definitely takes two to make it work. If he cares about me I need to know that :-) Someone who will challenge my intellect. I love learning. Meeting new people is complicated by the combination of being a busy single parent who works two jobs, and being naturally rather antisocial! I am a very independent, determined, motivated woman who continues to push forward despite what life dishes out. I am cautious about who I allow into my life, because (not pessimism, realism!) let's face it, society has gone downhill and not many people have any morals or integrity anymore! I have come to a point in life where I realize if people can't accept you for you, the only logical solution is to walk away.A sense of humor is a necessity in life! I am sarcastic but kind, friendly but shy... Every year I try to go somewhere new as there are so many interesting cultures and things to explore.I am a successful professional and you don't have to worry about having to support me financially.
