I'm a fun loving and light-hearted woman who enjoys meeting new people and experiencing life. I enjoy taking care of other people and look forward to meeting someone with the same desire. I would say that my greatest accomplishment in life has been raising my children. I blessed to have two exceptional kids. I am very proud of the young adults they have become!A typical weekend for me would include cooking for friends, enjoying drinks at a local bar and working on projects at home. I concentrate on work during the week, so weekends for me are all about relaxing and enjoying the company of others. Although I love spending time with friends and family, sometimes cuddling up with a comfortable blanket and watching a good movie at home can be just as enjoyable.I am open minded and have a very easy going personality. I love laughing and hope to find someone who does the same, Although I'm content on my own, i feel life would be more fun shared with someone else.

Hi there. I'm happy, have a good sense of humor, am emotionally stable, outgoing, optimistic, creative, healthy, and active. I have lots of interests and like to try new things. I enjoy art, architecture, live music, theater, movies, wine, and great food. Cooking on a chilly Sunday afternoon can be as blissful as an early morning walk on an empty beach. I'm generally happiest being outdoors, indulging in simple pleasures that include hiking, bike riding, yoga, running, or exploring new places while traveling. I work in NYC, and being here every day energizes me.-- well...maybe more like slowly lift -- my kayak on top of the car and be out on the water in minutes. I'm comfortable in my own skin and don't fit into any sort of stereotype, thanks to my European heritage and American upbringing. My foundation is centered around home, family and friends, but I'm an explorer at heart. I don't have a laundry list of what I'm looking for (although I do like lists). I'm open minded and can usually tell when I meet someone whether we'll hit it off. That being said, we should share some similarities, including a truthfulness about who we are and what we're looking for. And if you have good taste, intelligence, a positive attitude and adventurous spirit, you're probably someone I'd like to meet. I'd like to take things slowly, getting to know you, and building from there. I am NOT interested in a hook up, so if that's what you're after, or you want just a casual fling, I'm not the one. At this stage, we've all had life experiences and hopefully have a good sense of who we are and what we want. And what I want, quite simply, is someone who complements me and with whom I can share some great times and new memories. If you think that could be you, let's talk. Thanks! A good first date is one where we're able to talk and get to know each other. Probably over drinks somewhere quiet, with music in the background. Dim lights. Not too crowded, and a great vibe.

independent (uh-oh) artsy, happy, low-maintenance kind of gal with various interests.looking for friends and more.i've had a great time in my life. adventure has always been a running theme for me. i work hard but play with even more ferocity. at this point i'm most interested in the quality of time spent. brain massage first then whatever may follow.my will is free.i live alive.open to possibility , there are always new stories to collect. starts with waking up every day : ) a simple trip to the grocery store can lead to a strange and hilarious experience.lucky me. i pulled the short straw. my brother taught me to be strong physically (by default !) but he also taught me how to take care of myself. like how to fix the water heater in the middle of the night.not the girly-girl type, i prefer power tools over diamonds(allergic to metals--even gold-- can't wear them but i can use them)...i've got the woman thing down however--i clean up pretty well or so i am told.i attribute that to the discriminating french men and women i lived with in a flat in SF years ago. cracks me up, the reaction i get when i show up for a function in heels and hose. a chameleon of sorts. comfortable in work boots AND stilettos..my son is ,flown the nest and rarely lets me cook for him anymore, he's got his own women taking care of that. but i love to cook. i get a secret thrill after spending the whole day preparing a gourmet meal and then presenting it. then reveling in the inevitable food moaning that ensues.my work can be corporate at times. completely against my grain (hairspray vs. holllyhocks in my locks) but i understand it and morph accordingly when necessary.time away from that madness is spent mucking about my gardens, feeding my brain, and sometimes staring at the clouds from above.every new day has potential for more laughter.serenity now! intelligence and.laughter are essential.if it's cold out, something inside.i can handle a brisk walk in a snowstormbut i prefer the sultry steamy sass of summer. conversation then collaboration.
