I would like to think of myself as a very caring, gentle and outgoing person, a person very willing to do things for the next person. These past three years I have also had the opportunity to do some drag racing at Thunder in the Valley I have had the opportunity to do some bike riding and have my own chaps.It is a wonderful feeling riding behind someone on their bike enjoying the beautiful scenery as it goes by.I enjoy the sport of curling, and curled for approximately 25 years. Playing Ball was a big part of my life for quite a few years playing competitively and for fun and yes I do golf and have my own clubs but trust me in saying I am not great at it, but do enjoy going out for fun. I was raised on a farm, so I do know what work is and am not scared of it. I presently live on the family farm but adapt very well to city living but preferrably would think of myself as a small town girl. Have always loved horses and use to do lots of riding at one time. Enjoy also going to rodeos/stampedes and really enjoy watching pro chuckwagon racing.- my Shih-Tzu. I am of Ukranian heritage, enjoy cooking, have been told that I am a good cook and of course to me there isn't anything too much better than good old Ukranian food. My friends tend to call me saucy because I like to make cream sauces for alot of the dishes. I also enjoy going to Farmers Markets on Saturdays which I try and hit every Saturday unless I have plans that is of course. I have alot of wonderful friends which have been a part of my life for many many years and have told me that I have alot to offer that special someone. Like to go for Wing Night once a week with friends. I enjoy country music as well as the 60's,70,s and 80,s music and do enjoy dancing very much and have been told I am a pretty darn good dancer. One of my all time favorite singers would have to be Neil Diamond. I have been at my job for 35 years now and hoping one day to retire. I am here looking for someone thats wanting a long term relationship as well. I do realize they have to start somewhere, but hey if your not wanting that for you, I would rather you move on and not waste my time. I do like romance and of course every girl likes to be spoiled or pampered every now and then but think its wonderful when the gentleman can still open the car door or surprise you with flowers. Well I guess a first date for me could mean going to a car show, sporting event, taking a drive only to be followed by dinner, possibly a movie (comedy or romance) and last but not least great conversaton.

Question: When you say you would like to "meet", you add to favorites, etc. on here, what exactly does that mean.     Sign of the times that we have this new way of making contact with others who have the same goals. I'm new to it but open and optimistic that it is possible to meet someone??!! I have been on my own for several years now and have made some big changes to embrace my new life. Having always been a "beach girl" at heart, living in Silicon Valley for many years always felt somewhat stifling. Last month I moved to one of the beautiful SoCal beach cities! I am really looking forward to getting settled in and find my way around. I have four beautiful, crazy, funny, unique kids that keep my life from ever being dull and boring. I must warn anyone reading this, only one is out of the nest. Fortunately, I have a great co-parenting situation so I am NOT looking for a father for them and I DO have some free time! Free time, I am creative and love to paint, design, collect things. I am passionate about houses. Specifically old houses and have had the good fortune to renovate multiple old homes. I love the entire process from finding the perfect project through all the stages until a wonderful home is completed. I love being physically active. Run, walk, hike, yoga, dance. I am going to get a pair of rollerblades ASAP for use on the Strand. As for a profession, I was a nurse but it has been many years since I have practiced. I miss it and might think of a way to get back into the field at some point. The adrenaline junkie in me misses the intensity of a busy ICU. what else?! Guess I should mention that I have no sense of humor what so ever. I am never entertained by the absurd and unique oddities of life. I like my men boring as a rock. If you are the type that would make me laugh, like the kind of laughing that would make you snort, forget it. And teasing, kidding and being playful is definitely out. What good is any of that? Intelligence and being very physical, also very low priority on my bucket list. Hmmm Oh my gosh, I am adding this last sentence because someone actually thought I was serious about my previous paragraph and compared me to their ex! Seriously!?
