I have never been accused of being a wall flower! I love to meet people and was raised by very socialable parents who entertained frequently and taught their daughters how to throw a decent party, treat their guests right and really enjoy themselves. I taught swimming for little ones(pee-wees) years ago and parlayed that into teaching water aerobics for the past 20 plus years. It's a great way to keep in shape, receive a free gym membership and get paid to work out and have fun. I love music and cannot imagine my life without melodies in it. Blues, country, classic rock are all good . . . I like to volunteer and help seniors/shut-ins - most I've met over the years when they were younger and more mobile and took my water classes. Now I stop in and visit and see how they are managing. It's very rewarding ***day I'll be old and hope someone does the same for me.I should mention that I've shuffled in between 'blue' and 'white' collared worlds all my life and I'm very comfortable in both. But at the end of the day, I know I'm attracted to smart people and that's nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, I'd hate to be the smartest person in the room all the time! lol Truthfully, it's been so long since I had a really enjoyable date-date that I wish I could brag on and on and blah blah blah. But mostly, if a guy has a plan, I don't give a damn where he takes me or how little or much he spends, as long as he had a plan and made me feel special. I would definitely shave my legs and put on a nice outfit! That's a promise ***and I'll make you laugh ***that's a promise too!AND IF YOU ARE IN YOUR 20'S OR 30'S - PLEASE MOVE ON. I AM LOOKING FOR A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP AND DATING A YOUNG MAN LESS THAN HALF MY AGE IS NOT MY DESIRE.

Warm Greetings, to all you Gentlemen! Well, I'll start by saying.... I have returned after being away for 8 years in the South. At first, it was a long cold winter, with a long awaited spring. Then, Spring finally bloomed... that was Awesome! Next, was a nice first summer back! A little beach, some hanging at the lake, gathering with old and new friends, picnics, a few parties. All that brought joy to my heart, helping reconnected me back to a place that I love. I am blessed! Now, summer has passed and the vibrant fall colors are raining down on us. I missed that in the south for sure! So, just taking delight in the last of the warmth, that I know will be fleeting! Not sure I can say I'm excited about the winter moving back in? However, maybe it will bring new opportunities to meet a wonderful man? Somehow that image, brings a little warmth to the scenario! Ever hopeful!Fire places glowing, the aroma's of harvest cooking...apple pie, winter squash, stews and roasts.... as we change gears in our life styles to suit the new season that's fast approaching....a good book, maybe? (well I'll let that thought go for now!) Also...Thanks Giving is just around the corner...with so much to be thankful for!ABOUT ME... I'm a fun, open, down to earth, lady!I like to pay attention to all the little things in life. If you seek a relationship where love and kindness are exchanged everyday in your life... then perhaps we have something in common? At this stage in life, I'd like to put away the drama that seems to seep in, when we aren't looking....for a more relaxed, peaceful and meaningful life. It's important to live right now, the lessons that we have learned in the past. Being open to our future, as a place where we can thrive, share, and enjoy the best things in life. Keeping it FUN is important too, while understanding each others needs. I'm also going to say... Knowing my maker, and having a daily relationship with Jesus, is something that is important in my life. I love meeting new people, learning about new cultures. I have been fortunate to have traveled to many places in the past, both in the US, and abroad. I am a creative thinker and have many artsy/crafty things I like doing and learning. I like working side by side on everyday, or weekend projects around the house, with my someone special. So you wont have to do them alone, unless you want to! I love a good adventure and being spontaneous too! I am open to trying new things and sharing interests. I'm usually pretty flexible and adaptable in most things and situations. I try not to watch much TV but, a good move is nice to share. I'm a hopeless romantic too! I enjoy finding new ways of pampering and caring for a mate. Being intimate and affectionate with the right person, can be magical! I also hope you would enjoy fine dinning, theater, or live music on occasion, I enjoy a nice glass of wine with dinner at times. I really enjoy cooking and entertaining, as well as down home BBQ's and picnics. I love fun gatherings with friends and family! I am looking to get healthier as I grow older. If you are into that, then that would be a huge plus for me! Sorry I'm not a sports buff per say. However if you are, I can be supportive, enjoy, and compromise on things that make others happy.To list the things I'm looking for in a man, is a little difficult because...
