It's always hard describing myself so let's try this. My friends have described me as sensitive, caring, loyal, compassionate, having inner strength and of course a good sense of humour (actually a little twisted). My kids are always moaning about my jokes. I love last minute weekend getaways and drives to nowhere special- maybe the beach but it's getting a little cool for that now. I really enjoy the outdoors. In the nice weather I'd much rather be outside by water- pool, lake, ocean, whatever. I enjoy walking along the waterfront, hiking, dinner, movies, wine tours, swimming, rollerblading (love it but haven’t done it in awhile), plays, sports events- Leafs, Jays etc. Pilates is my new favourite. Got hooked on it a couple of years ago and now I go to classes 3 times a week. That being said, I still enjoy watching a good movie or TV show and snuggling with a special person. I do like holding hands, cuddling, and spending quiet time together as well..I like all types of music from rock to classical but my favourites are rock***s, 80s and current. This is going to sound really serious but I believe in the principles of fairness and “do unto others”. If you treat others with respect and kindness, you won’t always get it back in return but most times you will. I’m looking for someone with similar interests but someone who can also introduce me to new things. A good sense of humour and the ability to make me laugh are a must. Right now I'm just looking to date, get out and enjoy life. If it turns into more, that would be great, but no pressure. You should be adventurous, understanding, warm, caring, and be willing to try new adventures, especially traveling.; France especially, in the future.My 2 wonderful kids are both mid to late twenties and now it’s my time to get out there and enjoy. My kids are grown and I have one granddaughter. I love and cherish my granddaughter. I would love to travel to other states and possibly other countries. Oh yeah! there is a full moon also! Just the two of us, alone, hand in hand, who knows what else might happen.??I tell my mom and dad all the time, "I want what you have!" They have been married for 55 years in September, they love one another unconditionally each and every day. I know it took them 55 years to get what they have and I am willing to lay my life on the line for the man that can give me this love and accept the same love from me, unconditionally. If you are searching for the same unconditional love, then lets talk! First Date: yuk! lol!!!! It's been a while since I've had a 1st date. Probably about 30 years are more. But Im sure we can beat the odds and the butterflies. We'll talk about that more later. A nice dinner and getting to know one another would be nice. Been single for many years now and that's been ok, but i feel emotionally secure with who i am and would love to meet my best friend who i can love for the rest of my life and grow old with. I have three great adult children with three grand babies and my heart is so full with the love I have for those little ones! I like to: read for pleasure, fish, hike, camp out, (anything outdoors), dine out, and take walks in the park. I also enjoy a good movie every now and again. I attend church weekly (my faith is very important to me) and I have a strong, personal relationship with Christ. I have a life plan and would really like to begin work on my Masters Degree within the next 2 years. My goal is to eventually teach nursing to students.-). My ideal guy will be a Christian man who already has an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.Although I can and do have a serious side to me, I also like to laugh and have fun. Life is too short to be stuffy and serious all the time! They kinda fizzled this year :-( Maybe next year? I love attending live sporting events and although I'm not a Cowboys fan, I do love me some football.I listen mostly to Christian music (satellite radio to and from work...my car is set on "The Message") but I also like country and the old 70's music. It's intimate enough where two people can sit together in a pretty safe place and start to get to know one another a little bit. Plus, I love me some good coffee :-)
